4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours deep reddish brown with thin head that exits quickly. Definitely Xmas spices on the nose. Mild carbonation. Sweet raisin, nutmeg, and clove hit on the front and then finishes with strong ginger snap notes. Alcohol lingers in the finish dulling some of the initial sweetness. Taste, like aroma, is big and bold. Enjoyable winter beer but can’t see having more than one in a day.

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2012 Six pack from giant eagle. Spicy nose and initial cinnamon and nutmeg taste. Def a Xmas beer. Smooth balance but very spicy. Aftertaste is the best though. Tastes like gingerbread! ---Rated via my mouth

A fun seasonal, but I could really taste the alcohol. The spice aroma wasbabit much...smelled like Williams-Sonoma at Christmas. Fun for Christmas dinner.

EO, Dayton, OH, draft. Spicy. Like medicine. Not for me. Zero head, zero lacing. Hard to get down.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a deep amber red with thin off-white-beige head. Nose is mostly spice - cinnamon, nutmeg, malt, some chocolate. Taste is spices, sweet malt, light chocolate, some citrus. Not too boozy for 8%.

4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a deep red with a very small off-white head. Very warm, inviting aroma of spice, especially ginger, fruit, and that same cookie/crust aroma found in Pumking. It definitely smells like the holidays One of those beers I find myself continuing to smell. Taste is sweet and full of spice. The finish is not surprisingly spice. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation. Very nice holiday beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
It pours a deep scarlet red with barely a head and leaves no lacing. The spices really stand out in the aroma - particularly the nutmeg. The taste has a subtle blast of the spices throughout. It’s well balanced and quite drinkable at 8%. It’s very festive for the Xmas season. Yet another solid brew for ST!

A clear dark red beer with a small tan head. The aroma is malty, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The flavor is somewhat bitter and tastes like it smells.

Pours brownish red with moderate lacing. Aroma is dominated by spices. Anise, cinnamon, and ginger. Taste is the same. Alittle too spicy for my taste, but still good.
