Bottle. Rich reddish amber pour with a tan head. Awesome aroma and taste of nutmeg, fig, molasses, and all kinds of holiday goodness. Delicious brew.

Ruby red color with thin off white lacing. Malty nose with chocolate, vanilla and spices. Almost a cookie nose on this one. Smooth yet spicy with a snickerdoodle taste and gingerbread flavor to it. A great little winter beer without being to huge on the palate. Could drink a couple of these here

Bottle. Nutmeg, ginger, molasses, cake aroma .. reminds me of ginger cake. Light chestnut with a moderate beige head, creamy lacing. Ginger, nutmeg, molasses, and ginger bread flavor. Medium body and carbonation.

Christmas spices waif from the glass. The pour is clear ruby red like a Christmas ball. The flavor has a nice warmth for Christmas eve. Perfect for Santa would be a pint and some hot wings, that is what I will tell my kids anyway.

wxman (1521) - O’Fallon, Illinois, USA - DEC 2, 2012
Pours a deep clear amber with an initially fuul light tan head, but being large bead carbonation, the head quickly dissipates. Aroma is hop flowers, cinnamon and nutmeg. Taste is predominantely sweet caramel malt along with the same spices and a bit of hop bitterness. Far from outstanding, but a good seasonal ale nonetheless.

pineypower (2661) - Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Bottle thanks to Dmac. Pours out an attractive ruby red color with a small white head and a solid amount of carbonation. Aroma is of sweet cherries, fig, spice, nutmeg and a slight warming alcohol note. Taste is solid, very similar to the aroma, sweet cherries, fig, nutmeg, spices, light alcohol, some sweet notes in there as well.

Brown with red hue color. Minimal head dissipates quickly. Nose ginger, cinnamon, caramel with slight acidic note. Taste cinnamon upfront then ginger, cran-caramel, with a spicey (nutmeg, pine) finish. Mouthfeel watery. Not a big fan of style but a good one of it.

Pours reddish brown with a medium tan head. Aroma is caramel, chocolate, spruce and Christmas spice. Taste is sweet with trace bitters. Christmas in a bottle. Medium bodied with a smooth and almost creamy mouth feel.

jbruner (2826) - Athens, Georgia, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Pours an opaque brown from the bottle with dissipating, frothy tan head and light lacing. Aroma of spice, pine, and roasted malt. Taste follows, complex but not overwhelming. Goes down very smooth, with hints of cinnamon and dark chocolate and fruits on the back end. Much better than I was expecting.

Beautiful bouquet. Tastes like ginger, orange peel, cinnamon, smoky malt, slight pine hops. Aftertaste is ginger. Now it feels like Christmastime.
