12 oz. bottle poured into shaker. Pours clear ruby color with a fleeting off-white head. Spicy aroma with notes of candied fruit, orange, coriander and clove. Flavor follows suit with some lingering bitterness and a slightly warming alcohol finish. I’ve never had Glögg, but I may need to correct that.

Bottle. Pours a clear, copper color with a thin, laced head. Strong spices. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and figs. Strong, spicy flavor. Not hot spice. But a mixture of spices. A lot going on here. Alcohol is masked. Very good holiday ale.

12oz bottle pours a clear brown color with a medium off white head that leaves light lacing. Smell of dark fruit and spices. Tastes of the same things. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with good carbonation. Pretty good beer. It reminds me of a Christmas cookie.

Bottle. Awesome aroma of dark fruit, spruce, fruit cake, nutmeg and other spices. Big, filling mouthfeel. Finishes with warming alcohol candied fruit sweetness. Aftertaste has a spruce-tip like bitterness. Cool, unique beer that to me represents exactly the type of beer I’m looking for in a Christmas-time seasonal.

Strong aroma of clove, nutmeg, allspice that is almost too much. Deep ruby color; head disappears a few minutes after the pour. Warm alcohol but not too strong. Good for sipping. Would be a good with a dessert. Worthwhile trying.

Good beer. Unusual style, couldn?t resist trying it. Not an everyday drinker. Harsh on the nose. Lots of alcohol burn in flavor and smell. Tastes very good though. Appearance gets knocked down as it is cloudy.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Mahogany-cherry amber colored pour with a quick lasting off-white fizzy head. The spices in the aroma include a big dose of ginger and nutmeg, clove and allspice. Light hop note. Medium body. The booze tends to kick in more in the taste than on the nose along with the ginger and peppery spices. The finish lingers and ends dry.

Poured into shaker glass from growler. Pours a very nice clear copper with a quick but decent head. Seems to have plenty of co2. Lite lacing on glass as head retreats to sides. Allspice, orange aroma. Medium body, sweet. Taste is allspice, orange, nutmeg. Spice is at good level, not to lite or like licking a scented pine cone. Not normally my cup of tea but I enjoyed this one, well done.

Draft at Moriartys. Tulip. Very dark clear dark orange copper pour. With a small foamy white head. Lots of mulling spices off the top. Malty dark spicy vegtables. Celery hearts. Cloves. Artichokes. Nutmeg. Prunes. Cinnamon. Truffles. Cardamom. Sasafrass. Dark caramel sweetness married to some bitter earthy spice. Similar to their Pumpkin beer but with a darker fuller body and no pumpkin.
