From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Mahogany-cherry amber colored pour with a quick lasting off-white fizzy head. The spices in the aroma include a big dose of ginger and nutmeg, clove and allspice. Light hop note. Medium body. The booze tends to kick in more in the taste than on the nose along with the ginger and peppery spices. The finish lingers and ends dry.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a snifter. Pours dark crimson with medium off-white head. Nice thin small bubble lacing, medium body, and nice cardamom aroma. Taste is big cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, some orange peel, balancing herbal hop background, some dark fruit (hint of fig), and a hint of alcohol. Too much cardamom and I would prefer the alcohol to be completely covered.

Draft. Pours a clear dark amber/burnt orange with minimal head. Aroma smells exactly like the glogg my 98-year old great grandma makes. Cinnamon, spice and fruit. Taste is light sweet. Cinnamon and christmas spuce with a good bit of wheat and bready yeast. Light bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, great. I need to get this in a bottle to let my grandma try

12 oz. bottle via trade with DrSilverworm - Pours a clear mahogany color with a one finger thick light tan head. Beautiful, bright color! Light lacing. Aroma is big Christmas spices and light toasted malt. Flavor is the same but toned down a notch. the malt lingers in the finish. Medium body. This ain’t to0 bad for a XMAS beer. Thanks Chris.

On tap at Craftsman, pours a clear reddish amber with no head, a lot of spices on the nose with some sweetness of the malt, flavor has a lot of spice on the front end, too much for my liking, tastes like liquid popori, ugh.

Pours plum red with thin line of cream lace. Nose is full on spices, orange peel, cinnamon, nutmeg, spiced apple cider. Flavor is less pronounced than the nose, still spivey, light orange peel, booze, light cough drop finish.

Stumbled upon this today in the supermarket and made an impulse purchase. Good buy. Heavy spiciness in the nose, along with cherries and cola. Nice dark appearance with tan head. Rather clear. Palate has some oak along with the cola fruit and spice. Nice, this plus the cold weather has me ready for the holidays.

Pours a dark copper/chestnut brown color with mahogany edges and a half finger off-white head that immediately fades into a very thin ring. Not much in the way of lacing. Complex aroma with lots of sweet malt and zesty, earthy spice. Potpurri like aroma with flower petals, cinnamon, brown sugar, clove and allspice followed by caramel malt cherry and dark fruit notes. There’s event a peppermint like presence. I don’t know how Southern Tier does it but this beer smells just like XMas, creating an olfactory sensation that triggers childhood memories. Crazy! Medium bodied with tight carbonation and a heavy spice presence that’s countered by sweet malt, dark fruit and a medicinal syrupy flavor. This medicinal flavor tends to be overwhelming in holiday beers it’s kept in check here by the other characteristics. Lots of cinnamon, pepper, allspice and clove along with cherry cough drop and other dark berries. Slight alcohol sweetness but the high ABV is well masked with little to no heat. A little heavy on the spices but it’s a pretty good holiday beer that’s easy to drink.
