2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle (no BOD or BBD). Pours golden with a fast fading white head. Aroma is very faint. Pale malt and a trace of sweet wheat and hops. Flavor is very neutral, consisting only of trace amounts of wheat, hops, and pale, malt. Light body with medium carbonation. Overall: blue moon drinkers would probably like this.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Glear golden pour with visible carbonation and a head that quickly recedes. Aroma is soapy and citrusy. Flavor reveals a bit more of the advertised wheat notes with some hay and light spice. Lingering grass/hay and a surprising lack of citrus given the aroma. Still, it’s a pretty easy drinking albeit not very exciting.

Southern Tier does a good job of packing a lot of flavor (or is it "hops"?) into lighter styles of beer. I really like that about them. Here, I am not so sure how successful they were. This was quenching in its light graininess, but didn’t have a whole lot of flavor.

This is a dry wheat flavor. Just a hint of fruitiness. Very sticky on the roof of the mouth.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from bottle. Aroma of sweet malt, wheat and plums. Pale golden, semi cloudy head persists. I get a toasted, almost burnt wheat/rye flavor with some sweet fruit notes. Quite dry with lots of carbonation. A touch bitter in the back. Finished nice and easy. Good choice.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from the bottle to a pale yellow with thin white head that lingered to mid-glass and left okay lacing. Nose was a very faint apple-orange combo, with no spices or wheat. Mouthfeel fairly thin with little emotion and the taste was basically non-existent. Finish was short and a slight tad skunky.
Not impressed with this one.
