3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Southern Tier makes some of the best everyday beer out there. This is smooth and easy to drink, but with just a little more qualtiy and flavor than you get from the major brewers. 422 is one of my go-to beers for BBQs, tailgates, or a hot summer day.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Poured the color of straw with a tiny white head. Nose is malty with notes of wheat, cereal, lemon and mild hops. Thin body with a watery mouth feel with decent carbonation. Flavor is pale malt, hops, and wheat. Very malt liquorish.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Fast disappearing head on a dark golden body. Suprisingly well-balanced. Neither too heavy not too olight, this brew can be drunk at all times. Its taste;I think, will suit any occasion.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Poured clean, with a golden yellow color and a small, lacing off-white foam. Corn and honey in the nose. Fairly simple aroma, mostly malty, with hints of honey, bread, and perhaps a bit of lime. Smooth on the palate, with medium dense body and lively carbonation. Simple, basic, but refreshing, very summerish. If thatís what it is meant to be, then great, but otherwise a basic ale. Nothing is really wrong here, but seriously lacking character.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. This beer is not my style, but I like the brewery a lot, so here goes. Pour is a very fair yellow with medium carbonation and a thin white head that does not stay. Nose is slightly spicy, and malty. Taste is lager like and malty, slightly sweet with some spice. Thin and watery mouthfeel. Overall, not impressed, and the weakest ST beer I have tried. But, that being said, this is not my style, so maybe it is just me.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear, minimally hazy yellow/gold colour with a minimal, sudsy head that leaves some spotty lacing. The nose is bland, with corn, pale wheat, doughy bread, and a whisper of citrus. The flavour is about the same, grainy, and hardly any hop flavour at all, accept for a mild lemon zest. The emphasis here is really on the light bready flavours with an overtone on lemon. It does taste very fresh though, and it is extremely quaffable. I guess it achieves what it aims to do. The mouthfeel is slightly slick, perfectly carbonated and finishes almost as clean as Pilsner beers. Iíll be throwing quite a few of these back this summer it seems. Digging the pro-enviro concept!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled on tap at the brewery. Pours a decent goldish colour. Aroma is a little sweet and of wheat. Taste is a mix of everything you would expect in a classic brew. I would suggest you enjoy this while mowing the lawn, I rated it high because Iím generally a fan of what these guys are doing.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Ehh, not a big fan. This came in their variety pack. Pours a clear yellow. Light sweet malt aroma. Very little carbonation, easy to drink, but leaves a funky after taste. Wouldnít go out of my way for this one.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Newly imported to Denmark by Drikkeriget. Found this one at ōlbutikken, Copenhagen.
Bottle 33 cl.
The weather is hot and sweaty as hell therefore the choice fell on this pale beer. Very light pour with a nice fizzy white head. The nose is fruity and sweet - like peaches and honey-melons and a bit of sulfo and almonds. Pretty nice mouthfeel and the palate is rather creamy. I taste some hops some yeasts and a light bitterness with not much of a finish besides the bitterness. Nice summer beer that a nice to drink. Had expected less from the name.
