Sep 17, 2007 Bottled. A dark amber beer with a thin fast disappearing tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with a sharp hoppy note - especially with notes of grapefruit, combined with a malty note of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel combined with a lighter note of hops - giving it notes of grapefruit, leading to a dry finish - somewhat like eating a grapefruit.

Nov 2, 2006 Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm Clear deep amber, brief head. Rich grapefruity hop aroma. Sweet and fruity with plenty of caramlley malt. More rounded mouthfeel than in any other Souther Tier I’ve tried. Compact and flavourful, nicely warming. An excellent winter beer.

Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, spicy, light notes of chocolate, moderate to light heavy hoppy, grass. Mar 12, 2009 Bottle, 9%. Weak caramelly aroma. Clear red amber colour. Very small white head. The flavour is quite caramelly, has some grassy hops, slightly biting. The aftertaste even has some caramel along with a good grassy hoppiness.

Jul 24, 2009 Bottled@Konttori, Tampere. Amber colour, basically no head. Aroma is lots of fruity hops, some oaked notes as well as some herbal notes. Flavour is fruity, mildly yeasty, some alcohol, some plum as well as burnt sugar.. Huge grassy and caramelly peak in the finish. Hides the 9 % very well, since alcohol only shows as a slight sweetness.
