4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber pour..medium black color..small mocha head..nose is chocolate...chocolate and more chocolate..reminds me of the dark chocolate wilbur buds chocolate drops which are far superior to hersheys variant, anyway this offering is smooth, decadent, chocolate rich that would pair well with any chocolate dessert, hides the abv well, not too sweet, not that bitter, solid chocolate beer that is well crafted..

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a deep, dark brown with a thin off white head which disappears quickly.....aroma of dark chocolate milk.....taste is chocolate. Dark chocolate. Booze is well hidden, tails off into a bit of mild bitterness. Nice.

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is all chocolate, sweet chocolate. Taste follows the nose, milk chocolate with a bit of roasted malt at the end. A lot of reviews for other stouts say chocolate but this is the real deal, really good just hoping it doesn’t get tiresome as I keep drinking.

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Draft at Flying Saucer Nashville. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Leaves lots of lacing. Massive chocolate notes which curl into my nostrils like a docile, sleepy kitten which as we all know don’t really exist in nature. Big bitter chocolate which is to say it’s really good chocolate and doesn’t taste like a Hershey’s kiss or some such garbage. The chocolate lingers on the finish making this the perfect after dinner beer. It is a bit dangerous though since it hides it’s booze so well. Nice!

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours from the tap a deep reddish brownish black with a thick khaki head. Smells like a freshly unwrapped bar of artisanal dark chocolate, flavor is like a rich dark chocolate gelato. Very impressive for what could have ultimately fallen flat as a one-dimensional beer.

Cerveja muito boa, um amigo trouxe no meu aniversário e tomamos no final da festa. Excelente aroma e coloração quando colocada no copo. O gosto é delicioso, saborosa, com um toque de chocolate muito bom e que não deixa a cerveja artificial.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap. Served adeep brown color with a foamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate and trace of malt. Taste of chocolate, bit of booze and malt. Mild bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Full body, smooth with an overly chocolate feel. On the sweet side but goes pretty well with the holidays.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
On tap, December 2014. Rich dark appearance with creamy tan head. Chocolate bomb with slight hint of hazelnut and coffee. Hides the 10% alcohol well. Another winner from Southern Tier. Delicious!

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
22oz bottle poured into glass. Aroma is obvious...heavy malts and chocolate. Pours a dark brownish black with almost no head to it. Pretty smooth up front with a creamy mouthfeel heavy dark chocolates and malts present. Finishes a little bitter from the chocolate essence.
