Imperial stout brewed with pumpkins Warlock is brewed to enchant your palate on its own and also to counterpoint our Imperial Ale, Pumking. Make your own black magic by carefully pouring this Imperial Stout into a goblet.

Dark and mysterious, the Blackwater Series is serious about high gravity. Reanimate your senses with Warlockís huge roasted malt character, moderate carbonation and spicy pumpkin pie aroma.

Aroma is black licorice and spice. Color is dark almost black with a small white head. Taste is spiced with some malt, and lasting bitterness. Palate is dry and sweet, but also bitter.

Poured a nice deep black color with very little head. Aroma of pumpkin, dough, and spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Taste follows the nose exactly. This was my first time trying this. I still prefer Pumking to Warlock, but this was very good. Perfect for when the weather turns colder and fall hits. Body was pretty full and I donít think I could have drank two of these.

Sweet pumpkin aroma, dark black appearance. Tastes of pumpkin and spice. Mouthfeel is kinda chalky. Definitely a desert beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dark brown with a smaller bubbly light tan head. Aroma of...you got it. Pumpkin pie, with the crust included. Would be interesting to have this side by side with Pumpking. If my eyes were closed and I smelled this I would think itís Pumpking. Honestly donít get much imperial stout of it at all. Flavor of yup...Pumpking. Maybe some slight roast and some more toasted caramel notes than Pumpking. But itís not what I was hoping for. Wishing it was a big ole imperial stout with a touch of some pumpkin pie spices. Instead itís a Brown Pumpking. Was going to say abv well hidden for an imperial stout. But noticed itís 8.5% so already on the low end for the style.

Really good. The pumpkin gives a nice compliment to the stout. The aroma is really pleasing. Pretty good offering.

Draft at HoTB. Aroma of bascically pumpkin pie. Taste is really spicy with maybe cinnimon nutmeg, and pepper. Pumpkin pie crust. Medium body. Creamy texture. Good. I like pumpking a little better.

Aroma of cracked pepper mixed with nutmeg butter and pumkin. Taste is decadent. Smooth and creamy sweet and pumpkin pie. Desert beer at its finest. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown color, light brown head. Very spice and chocolate forward. Some toasted pumpkin. But something just didnít sit right with me. It was flabby and seemed to get worse as it warmed.

This is fall in a bottle. A darker more sinister twist on Pumking. Very good, the palate is all over the board with dozens of subtle flavors creepy in as it warms. A very good fall beer.

On tap from The Beer Store Wilson. Black hue, zero visibility with mostly lasting frothy light khaki head. Virtually no lacing. Strong spice and pumpkin from a can aromas. Taste of canned pumpkin with whipped topping up front with the same finish plus more spice on the end. Oily on the palate.

Poured from a 650ml bomber pitch black opaque, thin tan head that disappears quickly. Aroma has some light vanilla with cinnamon and pumpkin spice. Taste has lots of vanilla up front and fades into some light pumpkin spice thereís almost no roast flavor. Very smooth beer and not terrible for a pumpkin beer.
