Huge chocolate aromas - the name says it all... Chocolate from front to back followed by a slight bitterness... the chocolate is not overwhealming though... I could easily drink the whole bottle myself. nbutler11 (741), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 17, 2009 Bottle from Kelly via Seattle. Pours a viscous black color with a faint reddish brown head. Smells and tastes of semi-sweet chocolate. Finishes with a note of hops, but don’t get me wrong - this is pure Hershey’s syrup. Heed the warnings and split this at least 4 ways per bottle. I feel like I’m turning into Cornholio as I drink this. ElDuderino (141), Roslindale, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 9, 2009 Bottle, Pours black as night with a tall tight brown head. Notes of, what else, chocolate fill my nose with a hint of vanilla and caramel. The body is heavy and syrupy. The chocolate dominates with what tastes like 60 percent dark chocolate. I feel like I’m drinking herseys syrup. The body is fairly lifeless and the bottle is nearly impossible to finish alone. This must be 800 calories, easy. I love chocolate, but I would like some malty notes or a hoppy front to get the chocolate moving a bit more. AskForJenny (632), Ontario, New York, USA

Chocolate shavings on nose. Palate is Hershey syrup followed by a burst of hops. This was good. Adam77 (407), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 4, 2009 Courtesy of Nbutler11, thanks Nick, I have been looking forward to this! The color is black with a weak, red hue and a creamy head. The aroma is a massive attack of chocolate with hints of cocoa and filled chocolates. The flavour has sweetness, not cloying, and the same notes as the aroma and a light coffee bitterness in the finish. In the beginning it is absolutely wonderful, but in the long run 66 cc is too much for sharing between 2 persons. So nice yes, but in small quantities. Skinnyviking (4142), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 4, 2009 Bottle. High fluffy and long lasting light brown head. This time the beer really is pitch black. Absolutely no light through the glass. Powerful and lovely sweet creamy orange choccolate aroma. Simple but good. Intensive slighltly bitter choccolate flavor. Aftertaste long lasting and lovely bitter. Low carbonation. Man I like it.
