| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 12, 2008 The aroma is comprised of massive layers of butterscotch and vanilla with lesser hints of assorted sweet vapors that are difficult to pinpoint. This beer is ridiculously aromatic! The fore is chocolate, vanilla, sweet cream and cooked caramel. Mild roast burnt bitterness, with some strong nutty accents. Not nearly as intense as the aroma, but quite enjoyable. I love this brewery.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 2, 2009 Brown, black colored brew. The aroma is full of creme brulee, vanilla, sugary. Very well done! Flavor is a lot of vanilla and sugar at first. When it comes down to the right temperature the bitter tones are there. Not really exceptional flavors, some coffee, some caramel. A bit too thin. But a nice experiment. Spab (269), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 1, 2009 650 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a very dark brown with a hint of red and a small tan head. Beautiful, big nose of vanilla with caramel, coffee and chocolate. Taste is vanilla, caramel, chocolate and coffee. Very sugary, but with an interesting bitterness too. Soft carbonation, slightly sticky texture. Very nice beer, although I’m not inclined to drink the full 650 ml again what with the sweetness and the ABV. HeadieNugget (13), Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 30, 2009 Bottled at Örebro Öl- och Whiskeyfestival. Dark brown, small head. Strong aroma of coffee, vanilla and, well... creme brulee... The flavour is exactly that as well - burnt sugar, traecle, coffee, vanilla and caramel. Not bad in itself, just extremely superficial and one dimensional. A good beer for people that don’t like beer. Pseudo-craft beer. petematte46 (224), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 28, 2009 If you could turn a great Creme Brulee into a liquid, this would be the outcome. A bit much and over the top with flavor, but thats what I love. Not sure If I could drink a whole one myself. This was dark black and had a very strong vanilla and butterscotch. The taste had very little stout characteristics, almost pure butterscotch. The nose was intense. Maddog (242), Kettering, Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 28, 2009 Draft at the Dilly Deli. Wow, what an amazingly overwelming beer. Pours a jet black with no head to speak of. The huge aroma is vanilla and caramel, and the flavors are an explosion of vanilla, caramel, toffee and chocolate. Incredibly flavorful, incredibly sweet, this beer is best when handled in small amounts. I could never drink a full pint of this sweet beer. saravn (8), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA does not count | 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Nov 28, 2009 This is an amazing beer. It’s aroma is what is most alluring. Its not overly sweet, and can get a little bitter with it’s aftertaste. It’s a must try! pootzboy (1048), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 26, 2009 650ml bomber:
Pours a clear ebony brown some ruby highlights. Smallish tan cap. Soft carbonation.
Aroma is dominated by a vanilla-cream-cocoa tones, light caramel sweetness.
Medium body, rich oily mouth feel. Big chew of toffee-roasty malts spiked with vanilla in the front, mid palate the cocoa and lactose(cream) tastes join the vanilla in creating a chocolate-custard character, then this dissolves away in the long finish which turns bitter and roasty with slight drying.
Great blend of flavors in a strong stout without cloying....intensely flavourful, satisfying and warming....a definite must try Après à manger beer.
