3.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
22 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a very dark brown color with a one-finger khaki shaded head. It certainly looks like a stout, that’s for sure.
S: HOLY SHIZNIT. The level of vanilla, caramel, and cream I pick up on the nose is absolutely ridiculous. Of course, the sugar level is probably ridiculous, but I don’t care. The aroma is amazing.
T: The flavors, however, aren’t quite amazing. Having said that, this is probably the most caramel-forward brew I’ve ever had. Seriously, there’s so much caramel and vanilla, it’s fuckin’ ridiculous. No balance between the sweet and bitter qualities at all. But honestly? I kind of like it, even if the sweetness burns the palate.
M: I’d really like the feel to be fuller/creamier to properly support all of the over-the-top sweetness. Because of that, this is *VERY* hard to drink. The low carbonation doesn’t help it feel less cloying, either.
O: SAH-FUCKING-WEET. Sure, it’s actually flavor is nice, but this is so hard to imbibe it’s not even funny. Share this with about 4-6 people and you’ll thank me later.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle. Black with half finger head. Thick and dense, somewhat oily mouthfeel. Huge over-the-top vanilla. I love vanilla, but this is pushing it. It reminds me a bit of the time I tried vanilla extract -- there’s so much vanilla it seems bitter.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours from bomber a lovely, thick black goodness. Aroma immediate of vanilla and chocolate. Taste of much the same. Truly creamy, but not overly sweet. Very satisfying stout.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
What to say that hasn’t been said already - this is a big kids treat. Delicious, sweet, and smells heavenly. The 22oz had a fairly high price tag but it was oh so worth it.
This is definitely a sipper - savor the flavor because the alcohol is so well hidden you’ll think you got duped.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 ounce bottle into snifter, bottled on 1/9/2014. Pours dense pitch black color with a 2 finger fairly dense tan head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of huge caramel, toffee, vanilla, butterscotch, cream, custard, brown sugar, toast, light coffee, and light herbal hops. Fantastic aromas with very authentic creme brulee character with light-moderate hop presence; with big strength. Taste of big caramel, toffee, vanilla, butterscotch, custard, cream, brown sugar, toast, light coffee, and light herbal/pine hops. Slight earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, toffee, vanilla, cream, butterscotch, brown sugar, custard, toast, light coffee, and slight herbal/pine hops on the finish for a while. Incredible robustness and complexity of dark malt, lactose, and vanilla flavors; with just enough hop bitterness to cut out any cloying sweetness on the finish. Medium carbonation and full bodied; with a very creamy, slick, and slightly syrupy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding imperial milk stout! All around awesome balance of dark malt, vanilla, and lactose flavors with moderate hop balance; and extremely smooth to sip on for the big ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured dark brown with a small tan head leaving a little bit of lacing on the glass. Aroma is a blast of vanilla and caramel (cre me brûlée). Taste is quite sweet but it is in all honestly delicious consistent with aroma, you feel the booze but it is very well combined with the other flavors. Not as heavy as I expected and very enjoyable. Great beer.

4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A strong Creme Brulee aroma. Pours black with a light head. It has a very sweet burnt sugar flavor paired with just the right amount of bitterness. An ideal desert beer.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma is rich in vanilla as is the taste. Sweet, creamy, toasty vanilla is accented with buttery caramel. Very creamy, easy to drink once. It is too sweet to drink more then one.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Single finger head on top of a red pour. Caramel right off the bat along with some vanilla and butterscotch. Thick syrupy mouth. Very sweet. Taste just like advertised. Slight bitterness at the end makes this easier to drink without fatigue. Aftertaste is a little weird though.
