Bottle courtesy of hopson. Clear amber body, much rising carbonation. Sweet malty nose. Small off-white head. Very sweet, malty, a bit of oak, lots of caramel in the finish. A bit cloying. Thanks Kyle!

650ml bottle. This bottle is not as oxidized as I was expect but still lots of cherry notes, sweet and spicy, old musty leather. Decent.

25/X/14 - bottle @ The Autumn Gathering formerly known as RBBAG Mons (Gent) - BB: n/a (2014-1267) Thanks to my buddy Abu Nasim for the trade!

Clear red to deep orange beer, small aery irregular beige head, unstable, non adhesive, dissipates quickly. Aroma: bit nutty, caramel, vanilla, wood touch, sweet, alcoholic. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, vanilla, cherry liquor, almonds, marzipan, some alcohol. Aftertaste: slightly bitter, caramel, some tannins, chocolate, vanilla, "ersatz chocolate" (Koetjesreep, for all ye low country inhabitants, remember it? ;-), dried fruits, alcohol, fudge, bit of overripe banana.

brnandersen (2027) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 13, 2014
Sample from 65 cl. bottle. Hazy, amber colour with no head. Sweet aroma with fruits, rich caramel malts, light booze, sweet nuts and spices. Hardly any bitterness. Taste is sweet. Full body with a flat carbonation. Finishes dry and fruity with caramel malts. Looks like the hops is gone. Otherwise pleasant.

65cl, as Southern Tier Cuvée 1, retired exclusive American brew, thx alot to Tim for sharing!, complex brew, malty/woody and slightly floral/sweet, not too heavy, yet not balanced, cloudy, nearly no head, nice brew, ’Sadly showing some signs of oxidation...’

Thank you tderoeck! Tasting glass from 650 ml. bottle consumed @ “The Tasting formerly known as Mons RBBAG I (2014)”. Dark red copper with no head. Nose is super thick syrupy sugar, caramel, caramelized apple, cinnamon, lots of sugar,… Taste is sugar, caramel, caramelized apple, super thick caramel malts, biscuits, good oxidation, warming, tad boozy. Thick sugar body. Not top but pretty nice stuff.

"Coconut and oak were at the fore...nose and flavor. Almond biscotti is a good descriptor too :) Weird brew but good. A little barleywine like in its presentation yet not. Some apricot like fruit in the flavor as well with very little hops. Likely a one timer.

650 ml bottle thanks to my buddy Adrien for sharing this rare gem. Ruby brown color with no head. Lower carbonation at this juncture. Aroma is vanilla oak, raisin, and English toffee.

Flavor is subtle and elegant. Mild oak at the front of the sip with raisin and a fig flavor toward the middle. The base has a ton of caramel and toffee making up the base. Hints of coconut but in a covered in caramel kind of flavor. The finish is sweet with more oak. The mouthfeel has a creamy feel which is unreal because of the low carbonation. I never had this new but it seems like it aged really damn well. Some oxidation with light hints of cardboard but doesn’t take any from the flavor. To me it may be at a perfect time to open. The ABV is so mellow that It is not detectable. It maybe slightly past it prime but still real nice sipper.
