3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by nuplastikk: Pours a transparent copper amber with a thin, wispy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet toasty dark caramel and milk chocolate with lots of fresh oaky character. Starts with good fullness and rich, sweet dark caramel maltiness with a healthy dose of fresh oak and bittersweetness toward the drier, crisp finish. Pretty well balanced, complex and enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was a decent but unspectacular beer. Aroma was OK. Vanilla, oak and caramel. Pour was a nice deep gold with a one finger bubbly off white head. Taste was a little thin with hints of roasted caramel and chocolate in the front with a weird spiciness prickling the tonsils in the aftertaste. Nice carbonation makes the beer enjoyable. One thing’s for sure, this tasted like an 8% beer at most. Good job at hiding the alcohol.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours dark red with a thin white head. Smells of caramel, pepper, roasted malt. Tastes cloyingly sweet and mesy with up front weird bitterness.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
EBF NOTB. Light amber in color with a small off white head. Aroma of sweet malts- caramel/molasses, light toasted bread as well as oak and vanilla. Taste: I found this to be way too sweet- alot of molasses/caramel as well as alot of oak and vanilla. Light hop bittering finish. Big, sticky, and boozy-

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Great nose with the vanilla and caramel. Color is nice too, with a rich bourbon color. There’s some malt on the first taste - but it’s all at the front of the mouth. It’s one of the only beers I’ve had where there’s almost no finish... It’s viscous on the palate, which is your only sense that you’re drinking an 11% beer. This one could sneak up on you.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle from Binny’s Glen Ellen. Murky, dark brown pour with a thin bit of off white head. Aroma is nutty, with caramel, vanilla, maybe some bourbon. Flavor is oaky, lightly sweet. There’s some smoke, some caramel. The sweetness is nicely subdued here. Nice body with some carbonation and a bit of alcohol in the finish. Very solid brew.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at Dilly Deli.
Poured hazy ruby brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate nutty malt, caremel and wood aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture with flat carbonation. Medium to heavy creamy sweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish and small alcohol burn of moderate to long duration.
This is a solid brew.
