COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer may have a cheeky name, but don’t be fooled; it is modeled after fine European pilsners to be light and crisp. Aromatic Noble hop varieties, 2-row malted barley and European style pilsner malt contribute to this pale beer’s smooth character.

Pint on tap. Clear golden with a film of cream. Nose is honey, grass, corn and a touch of citrus. Taste is the same, Near-medium body has average carbonation and a crisp finish.

I don’t like pilseners in general, but I love Southern Tier so I tried it. This is the best pilsener I’ve had. Clear with a bubbly foam. Floral hoppy aroma with a taste that hints at raspberry.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale straw yellow body with a one finger fizzy white head that left a bit of light lacing. The nose is crisp pale malt with a bit of a crackery maltiness and light hoppiness. There is a touch of soapiness in here that doesn’t sit all to well with me though. The flavor is a bit soapy also, I think that the combo of malt and hops are the cause of this soapy character, but I’m not quite sure why. Light and fairly crisp despite the soapy quality, light lingering bitterness. Light bodied and fizzy with soft carbonation. This one just turns me off to a large extent. I’m not even sure that it’s really a flawed beer, it’s just something that turns me off.

355ml bottle. Sweet and hay aromas. Pour pale gold, clear, with vanishing white head. Light body, fizzy, crispy, high carbonation. Taste is some malty, cereal, hay, some diacetil. Poor.

The appearance of this beer is a pale yellow with a medium yet quickly fading white head, and the aroma is strongly of sour bread yeast with a hint of sweetness to it. The taste is quite sour and slightly sweet, but the lack of balance between these flavors makes the beer unappealing; also, the palate combines a medium body, thin and slick texture, average carbonation, and an abrupt finish.

Bottle at home. Crystal clear, small head for a pils. The aroma is cereal with creamy lemon. Light bodied, very vegetal, herbal, grassy, husky grains, quite sweet underneath. Crisp. Finishes quick and dry.

Light yellow pour with white head. Typical pilsner style aroma with a strong yeast scent. Some light citrus but strong malt taste.

Really light and crisp. Cereal and citrus on the palate. Little bit to sweet and one dimensional for me
