COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer may have a cheeky name, but don’t be fooled; it is modeled after fine European pilsners to be light and crisp. Aromatic Noble hop varieties, 2-row malted barley and European style pilsner malt contribute to this pale beer’s smooth character.

Bottle: The aroma consists of grass, hay, floral notes, and light grain. It pours a transparent gold with a two finger white head that fades to a thin film and leaves behind some decent webbing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of honey and some sweet graininess. The finish has light grass/hay/floral notes. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. Overall, nothing mind blowing, but a decent summer thirst quencher.

Bottle. Milky barley malt aroma. Medium yellow with large head. Sweet creamy barley malt and moderately bitter herbal hops flavor. Pretty good.

12 oz bottle. Pours a golden honey color with a thin white head. Aroma of grass, flower petals, and sweet malts. Taste is of sweet cereal malts followed by a load of floral hops. Very perfumy. Crisp and refreshing. A nice summer beer.

Appearance: Clear straw under a soft white head which fades slowly into a thin film with a thick border. A few random bubbles trickle their way up to the white head.
Nose: Crisp toasted golden grains with green grass in the back. Fresh juicy oranges. Honeyed grains and sweet breads. Tropical sweetness on top with cantaloupe, kiwi, and mango.
Palate: Delicious! Sweet, bready, grassy, and melons. Liquid grains and liquid breads – artisan made and baked of course. Honeyed cantaloupe, starfruit, and kiwi. Orange in the middle and on top. Gentle pithy notes linger long in the back of the throat after each swallow. Full chewy mouthfeel.
Final Thoughts: A fantastic classically inspired pilsner that I would love to have in a can for the boat, the beach, and anywhere else I would enjoy a good pilsner. Once again Southern Tier pleases the palate and my session beer sensibilities.

Draft at Fermentation. Clear straw pour with a small bubbly white head. Grainy, catty, grassy and slight soapy. Same generic pale malt and grainy flavor. Crisp and easy drinking.
