COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer may have a cheeky name, but don’t be fooled; it is modeled after fine European pilsners to be light and crisp. Aromatic Noble hop varieties, 2-row malted barley and European style pilsner malt contribute to this pale beer’s smooth character.

A clear, pale yellow pour with a white head. The aroma is light with some faint floral notes. The light body has a crisp texture with lively carbonation. The taste is well-balanced with a dry finish.

12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours light golden with a with head. Aroma of pale malts, lots of breadiness, and some light hops. Flavor about the same. Light to average texture. A decent beer.

Corn and bean aroma with something meaty, like the little white piece of fat you find in a can of pork and beans. Crystal clear yellow, thin snow white head. Flavor is as it smells, but with one important added component, grassy noble hops. It’s like a City Brewing/Urquell collaboration. The former provides the malt bill and the latter the hops. Nicely hopped garbage.

12oz bottle from Wine Outlet. Pretty nice euro pils. About the only thing non-characteristic was it was a pretty still beer; seemed light on the carbonation. Fine though.

Pours pours clear pale golden color with white head. Cereal malt aroma with some floral hops. Sweet feral malt flavor flavor with light hop bitterness. Light to medium body with lively carbonation.

Clear Yellow/Pale Straw color; Beers don’t get any clearer than this. The taste is very malty, overshadowing the grassy hops and yeasty flavors. However, none of the flavors tend to stand out and it ends up being a very average tasting Pilsner. The only redeeming quality it has is that it’s easy to drink and has a very crisp feel to it.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2012 Bottle. Judged against other pilseners, Eurotrash is pretty solid. Ironically, it only falls short when compared to European pilseners. The scent had a sweet tinge to it that I could only place as a sort of light salt water taffy. The transparent pour had a golden tint, almost zero head, and only a light ring, no lacing. The palate was a light body, and I though the texture was more sticky than crisp (as advertised). The taste was similar to sweet corn, settling into a mostly Mexican restaurant tortilla chip - not those airy ones you buy by the bag at the grocery store, but the thick corn tortilla chips served at your local Mexican joint. As I said, overall, a decent pilsener.
