4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce bottle - $1.49 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. DOB 01/18/12.
Appearance: Pours a crystalline, straw-hued body with a well frothed, white, sudsy head.
Smell: Pils malt with accents of grain and dough and, though scantly, honey, too. Lemon-scented, floral, lightly spicy hops.
Taste: A clean, lightly sweet taste of pilsner maltiness with a faint kiss of wildflower honey. Light hint of grainy, gently-kneaded bread dough. Light lemon and spice from the hops with ample bitterness to balance out the initial sweetness and leaving one with a dry, crispish finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation, fairly sudsy.
Overall: Crisp, clean, and refreshing. I’ll probably grab a six-er or two once the sweltering spring and summer hit in Georgia.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A very light yellow brew with low carbonation. Little to no aroma. Mouthfeel is thin, flavor is light, but interesting enough. Some light sweetness and a little hop. Noting too exciting though.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Trader Joe’s poured into the beautiful embossed Pilsner Urquell glass that I just picked up at Salvation Army for 99 cents. Pale golden with lasting white head. Mild honey grass vegetal aroma (that goes away). Light honey grassy sweetness nice and dry with fairly assertive hop bitterness. Lingering but inoffensive even pleasant malt. Yeah, I don’t know why I felt like I was not going to like this. I usually like a well-made American micro pilsner. Victory and Lagunitas come right to mind. Anyhow. This is a nice pilsner.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle. Perfectly clear yellow straw with white suds. Nose is pastry dough, light lemon and floral hints. Clean and crisp enough for a quenching swig but substantial enough to savor. Taste is lemon pith, toffee, bread and black pepper. Pretty good; i like the more restrained ST efforts.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tallahassee, Fl - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Pours a sparkling medium light golden with little to no head and some decent bubble action. Aroma is distant, some dusty notes, a hint of wet paper bag. Flavor has a dash of honey sweetness, a brief wisp of nuttiness. and some bland lager notes. Mouthfeel is quite thin. Not one for the ages.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Eeew. This smells of chicken soup and peanuts. Bad label, clear specimen colored beer with a filmy head. Brothy tasting, dry, starchy. Light body, a little hops in the finish. I tried not to let the name tip my rating, but it appears that the name was descriptive. New Leaf Market.
