COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer may have a cheeky name, but don’t be fooled; it is modeled after fine European pilsners to be light and crisp. Aromatic Noble hop varieties, 2-row malted barley and European style pilsner malt contribute to this pale beer’s smooth character.

Not very impressed with this one. Of all the beers I’ve had at this brewery, this one is at the bottom of the Harrell.

This beer is a clear golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and malt. Light body with a mildly hoppy character that has floral and grassy notes. Some malt in the background. The finish is short and hoppy. Pretty average offering from Southern Tier overall.

Pours golden, pretty sweet aroma, a bit grasyy, has a lot of pilsner qualities, taste very eastern european, nice offering

12 oz. bottle. Pours a pale urine gold with a thin fizzy white head that turned to a soapy film by the first sip and left a spot or two for lace. Skunky aroma. Not good. The flavor is harsh grainy malt which morphs into some moderate hops bitterness. Light bodied. Overall, a pretty crappy beer not worth the effort.

Bottle at home - shared with Mette. Clear golden - white head. Bread, white bread, egg, nice hoppy, grassy, light citrus, light fruity notes, fresh hoppy, nice crispy. Nice pilsner.

Meh...a pretty average pilsener, not as good as our European counterparts. Aroma was heavy and lager like with hints of straw and must. Pour was a nice light clear gold with a thin white film for a head. Taste was OK. It was nice and light with sweet grains and just a hint of hop bite in the aftertaste. A little sticky on the cheeks and top of the mouth. The big problem with this beer is the lack of good carbonation. Some nice bubbles would bring this beer over the 3.0 mark for me. Decent beer, but that’s it

Poured into a pils glass. 3.0 A: Clear light yellow color. Just one finger of frothy white head that fell quickly and left no lacing. 4.0 S: Biscuity and grainy malts. Super clean. Dank, floral hoppiness with grassiness right behind. Simple, yet seductive. 4.0 T: Grainy first, biscuity second. Soft bitterness, earthy and grassy hop flavor. Pilseners aren’t the height of complexity, but this is a clean, tasty one. 4.0 M: Light body. Crisp and refreshing. My only complaint is that the carbonation is a bit too high. 4.0 D: Super clean and tasty. What more could you want in the style? This would be a good choice for a party. I had this last weekend. I don’t remember anything too specific about it. It wasn’t that great. It definitely reminded me of a decent American microbrewery trying to do a true Euro pilsner. American breweries can’t do good pilsners-- although Stoudt’s comes close. Too hoppy, and a little thick at the end. Needs to be fluffier, foamier, and light at the finish.

Pours a crisp yellow-gold color with no head. Aroma is light grass, biscuit malts, and light wheat. Taste is smooth, lightly grassy hops, with toasty malts

12oz. Bottle: Faint aroma of noble hops and grain. Poured yellow/gold in color with a small, loose, white head that disappeared quickly, except for around the edges. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of grain, malt, and slight noble hops. Light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Malt, grain, and slight noble hop finish is slightly sweet.
