COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer may have a cheeky name, but don’t be fooled; it is modeled after fine European pilsners to be light and crisp. Aromatic Noble hop varieties, 2-row malted barley and European style pilsner malt contribute to this pale beer’s smooth character.

6er from Apu Nashapeemapetalon’s rip and run. Supposedly fresh. Ahhh Pilsener how i love thee.....let me count the ways....one, two, three........ this beer is much better on the warm side. I mean like 50 plus F. Thin and metallic when cold. Nose is weak, body is thin. If they are comparing this to the 11 degree pilseners that I love they must be mad. Or possibly they are comparing this to all the Russian and estonian power lagers....So this may be power lager light. boo!

Bottle shared with friends. Porus a clear body with foamy, fizzy white lacing. Aroma is pils, cheap pilsner. Mouthfeel is light and crisp with not too much going on, some pilsner malts, pee, and sweetness.

Southern Tier Eurotrash Pilz is a super clear, pale golden lager with a white head that quickly fades to a bubbly film. There’s not much aroma. It smells a little sweet, grainy and maybe lemony. It’s very light bodied and pretty smooth with a dry finish. It tastes a little sweet up front, then a sort of chemical taste comes in with a little bitterness toward the finish. Yeah, I think this was appropriately named. There’s not much going on here. I find myself drinking it faster to wash the aftertaste out of my mouth.

Kind of a disappointing beer. Very average everything. Smell, color, taste. Nothing repellent, but I’ll not buy it again.

Mild Pilz with a light body and lively carbonation. Slight maltiness gives it a decent balance and flavor for a pilsner. Quite refreshing too.

Southern tier - what were you thinking? The pour is see through gold with a thin white head that fades into some lacing. The aroma is rather subtle with possibly some malt standing out? The taste is very generic pilsner like. It’s a touch smoother and slightly less offensive than your typical generic tap but still nothing to write home about and not worth writing anymore about. Blah

Pours a clear, bubbly yellow on tap with thin white head and light lacing. Aroma of pils malt, bready and watery, with a hint of grassy hops. Taste follows, clean and bubbly on the mouth, slightly bitter. Good for a pils, but not my favorite style.

From bottle. Pours golden in color with frothy head. Aroma was bread and a little sour. Taste followed. Very thin mouth feel and off taste of sour bread.

The appearance of this beer is a pale yellow with a medium yet quickly fading white head, and the aroma is strongly of sour bread yeast with a hint of sweetness to it. The taste is quite sour and slightly sweet, but the lack of balance between these flavors makes the beer unappealing; also, the palate combines a medium body, thin and slick texture, average carbonation, and an abrupt finish.
