This beer may have a cheeky name, but don’t be fooled; it is modeled after fine European pilsners to be light and crisp. Aromatic Noble hop varieties, 2-row malted barley and European style pilsner malt contribute to this pale beer’s smooth character.

Pours clear golden with a small, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma is fresh, grapefruit, some citrus. Light resin. Medium carbonation, fine dry and fairly light mouthfeel. Flavour has good hoppiness, good crisp malts, grapefruit, resin. Lingering fresh hoppiness. Elegant.

Appearance: pale yellow, poured into a pint glass so not a particularly impressive amount of head displayed Aroma: Smells of spicy noble hops Taste: Bitter for sure, not as much of the spicy noble hops as the aroma would indicate but appropriately hopped for a pils. Light bodied beer that is adequately carbonated and surprisingly malty for a pilsner. Overall: Not my favorite pilsner but would definitely drink it again

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of chrisv10. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Fresh citrusy aroma hops in the nose atop some sweet malt. Medium body, sweet malts, a berry-like fruitiness and a subtle but existant hoppiness. Very pleasant and quaffable. 300312

355ml bottle.Pilsner glass.Enjoyed on mar´12.Pale yellow color, clear appearance.White, small bubbled, froth forms a close crown with fairly good retention.Floral notes from German hops dominate aromas.Clean bitterness, slightly malty.Smooth mouthfeel. Light body, soft carbonation. Refreshing.Easy drinkability. I´ve had many Original German Pilsner so I could confirm that I prefer this NY Pilsner better than many of them.

Pours a bright yellow with white foamy head. Great lacing. Aroma of hay and light grain. Taste is slightly sweet up front followed by an earthy lager type taste and peppery hop spice. Not as dry as I might want but good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at the Craft. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Smooth palate, slightly soft with mild fine carbonation. Fresh pale malts - a little cream. Mild citrus. Minerals. Semi crisp finish. There is a bare whisper of sulphur here but it’s faint enough not to distract. Decent Pils.

Bottle, 5.2%. Floral hop aroma. Clear yellow colour. Sparkling. Good stable chalk white head. The flavour is nicely malty and has a mild aroma hop note. Chalky finish. The bitterness is not so high, but also not rough or unpleasant. Good mouthfeel.

In bottle at home. Pours a blonde colour with a fair white head. Aroma of pineapple, grassy hops, caramel and yeast. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel.
