COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer may have a cheeky name, but don’t be fooled; it is modeled after fine European pilsners to be light and crisp. Aromatic Noble hop varieties, 2-row malted barley and European style pilsner malt contribute to this pale beer’s smooth character.

2013-07-15. Crisp yellow, modest white head and lace. 3+ Modest grassy hops in aroma, light pale malt. Flavour is similar, modest grassy hops and bitterness throughout, lightly cereally pale malt throughout. Average bodied palate, modest carbonation. Decent, just okay. Well I'm not a big Pilsner fan to start... To me this kind of tastes like a Budweiser with a little more hops. Light, crisp, very little head, notes of straw, grass and rubbing alcohol. Most likely the worst beer I've had from Southern Tier. Not so bad I'm going to dump it, but I would save this for my friends who drink miller lite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Southern Tier Eurotrash Pilz has a medium head, a somewhat hazy, slightly bubbly, yellow-gold appearance, and some thin, splotchy lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, cracker, with some grassy hops. Taste is the same. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Southern Tier Eurotrash Pilz finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and dry. Overall, this is nice. I like it. RJT

Appearance: this beer poured with practically no head, the beer is a very clear light gold color Aroma: very pale grain, wheat, perhaps some corn, Taste: very plain, perhaps some wheat flavor, perhaps some corn, very slight bitterness on the finish Palate: lively carbonation, minimal wheat/corn aftertaste, leaves mouth dry Overall: I'm not a fan of this style but am a big fan of this brewery so I tried it, I'm still not a fan of the style but this is one of the better pilsners ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. It pours bright yellow, with busy carbonation and a fizzy white head. This is what a pilsener should look like so no complaints there. Then I hit a "bridge out" sign. The aroma has faint biscuit malts but what I am really getting is grass and skunk. Not a green or clear bottle but there you have it. Appropriate light and refreshing. The taste is a slight step up with a slightly more notable malt character followed by a crisp, clean, dry hop finish.

Tap from The Rookery. Pours a transparent gold with a thin layer of off white head. Aroma of fruit and bread. Taste of yeast/bread/grain with nice carbonation.

Very nice but alittle too hoppy even for a pils. Nice aroma and soft in features it is.

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised. Moderate bready aroma. Taste is yeasty, smooth and crisp straw. A very drinkable beer.

Very light, crisp, and sessionable. Some grass and hay character. Golden coloration. Tried with Messa at the Old Line in 2014.

12 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. Pours a clear, light gold with a white head of foam that dissipates at a moderate rate. The aroma is a little corny with notes of fusels and rubbing alcohol. The taste is nearly abrasive bitterness that sweetens up as the beer warms. Phenolic. Medium to high carbonation.

Clear yellow, no real head. Nose is sweet malt. Decently bitter. Middle is fresh grass and unripe apple. Finish is crisp bitterness.
