Neolithic humans evolved from nomadic hunters into a more settled agricultural society, changing life forever. The ‘founder’ crops they raised included wheat and barley. It is little surprise that the first examples of brewing appeared during this age. Brewers owe much to the epoch. Similarly, we thank our farmer friends of today for cultivating the ingredients the are responsible for the beers we now enjoy. Their laborious days spent ourdoors under the hot sun earn them respect, as well as a mark of distinction: the farmer’s tan. Yes, the inevitable red and white hallmark of hard work.

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, citrus, spices, and hops. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel as well as medium notes of alcohol and spicy hops, leading to a dry and bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Clear pale gold beer, little white head. Light palate, slightly soft. Lovely hops - minty with a hint of aniseed. Well integrated light orange and grapefruit. Finishes with a little creamy malt and a hop aniseed aftertaste. The best pale lager ever! Hugely drinkable!

Draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen
Deep blond color; compact head. Strong hoppy aroma, very fruity, a bit soapy. Strong beer, the mouthfeel is lightly oily; quite strong toffee flavor, a bit on the dry edge; powerful hopping, fruity. Yes, it’s bold, but the concept is a bit simplistic; and not different from an Ale.

Bottle with Nick. Rich gold with a foamy, white head. Nice hop aroma, grass, some caramel. Quite sweet, some cereal, more grass, light resin and citrus. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes sweet with some tangy hops, grass and straw, caramel and hay. Great beer.
