3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear medium amber, frothy 1" white head, sheets of lace. Taste is light, almost watery, malt that adds pushy hops on the swallow. Carbonation bumps the taste, but then it smooths out in a long finish that features only hops. Good for 4.5% abv, but not great by any means.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Lemon, pine, and grapefruit in the aroma. Light, bitter flavor with pine and citrus. This is a great example that a beer doesnít have to be heavy to have a lot of flavor. Another really good effort from Southern Tier.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This IPA poured a medium amber colour with a big, rocky, bright white head. Minimal lacing. Scents include old books, grass and pot. First swig was very nice and creamy with very good hop malt balance. Grassy hops and a little caramel. Finish is lightly bitter with a nice hop flavour lingering.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rated on 7-26-2014 (Bottle) The appearance is a large fizzy off-white head that mostly diminishes, golden transparent body, very fizzy, lively, fast rising carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is caramel malt, citrus, grassy hops, fruity, and bitter. The flavor is moderate bitterness citrus hops, fruity, grassy, and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. Overall, this beer is quaffable with a non-offensive bitter aftertaste. This beer is worth trying and it is a beer I would drink again.
