Taste is caramelly malt sweetness with some fruity notes and a bitter, grapefruit-bite. Smooth palate, low to medium carbobation. Slightly sticky. Kind of overly sweet and one-dimensional.

It poured a clear copper color with a heavy white head. The aroma was of floral and grassy hops, some caramel malt, citrus fruit, pears, and pine. The taste was of balanced hops (medium bitterness) and sweet malt with faint supporting fruit esters and a dry finish. Very tasty.

Pours clean and brilliant golden colour with a creamy head. Maybe a bit too resinous and strong for me.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 BMMillsy (688) - Florida, USA - OCT 7, 2012
UPDATED: FEB 10, 2013 Pours light golden for a dipa. Smells of very strong bitter citrus. Flavor is hops up front with perfect sweetness. This is very drinkable for the high abv and the taste is right on. Sucked this down quickly, and might be my favorite of the Southern Tier beers.

Lots of fruit in the aroma. Good balance in your mouth but after a while so has the good taste dissapeared.
