When words don’t say enough we sometimes let our fingers do the talking. Maybe it’s kid stuff, but the sign of the goat has been used by rock stars, sports fans, celebrities & unfortunate politicians to celebrate symbolically. Open this bottle for your turn to flash the eternal gesture of high voltage rock & roll. For those about to bock, we salute you!

Aroma of dark malts, caramel, raisins, dark fruit, faint banana.. Flavour is much like aroma with hint of chocolate. Finish is a little cloying with ad bitter aftertaste. Okay.

Pours a hazy dark copper/chocolate brown color with Amber edges and a one finger off-white head that quickly settles into a thick, lasting ring. Sporadic spotty lacing left behind. Intense, inviting aroma with a strong peppery spice presence that’s countered by prominent sweet malt, bready yeast and citrus zest. Lots of black pepper and clove along with sweet caramel, toffee, chocolate and dark fruit. Decent bready yeast character with hints of banana and bubblegum followed by subtle orange peel sweetness. Medium body with a zesty spice presence up front that lingers over the sweeter notes, prominent yeast and citrus sweetness into a tart, dry finish. Lots of clove and other peppery spices up front followed by hints of sourdough bread, banana and citrus. Sweet malt backbone with caramel, toffee and light chocolate followed by zesty orange peel in the finish. Doesn’t quite live up to the aroma but this beer is refreshing and easy to drink with some nice flavors. I would have preferred a little more malt sweetness/silky chocolate notes to counter the heavy spice and pithy citrus.

Bottle: Poured a clear brown color bock with a nice light brown foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing notes. Aroma of light banana bread and caramelized malt is interesting. Taste is a nice mix of banana bread, caramelized malt with some residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but the yeast ester are not exactly up to par with their German counterparts.

Malty, bready, heavy and tasty. Clear, nut brown with a soft, vanilla ice cream head. Nice feel, good mellow carbonation.

Bottle from HomeBrewStuff. Taste is the best asset of this brew, which, all things considered, is probably the most memorable. Kind of a dull pour for a weizen, small head, cola colored body. Aroma is full on roast malts, very sweet. Taste brings it all together, not as sweet as it smells, fair amount of burnt toast bitterness. Body seems light, sweet cloying finish. Also ABV kind of low for the style...but it tastes great.

Pours a good size frothy beige cap and has a fairly dark amber/coppery appearance. Good lacing. Aromas are wheaty and malty with notes of yeast. Flavours are mostly malty, some toffee, earthy hops, spices. Full bodied mouthfeel.
