Commercial Description:
Harvest Ale is our celebration of the changing weather and the sowing of hops and barley that will be used in our upcoming brews. We usher in the fall with a classic English style Extra Special Bitter of the highest order. Deep ruby in color with an even deeper hop flavor… in fact, we throw fresh English hops into every brewing vessel, then dry hop after fermentation to impart a zesty kick. This beer has real hop character that mingles with fresh malted barley for an experience that will make you wish it were fall year ‘round.

Clear golden pour with a thin white head. Aroma is citrus, grass, earth, mandarin, sap, evergreen resin. Its hard to get past the hop character- which is fantastic- but sweet caramel malt is just on the other side. Flavor is sweet honey and caramel malt with a robust hop character that rears its resinous head with orange and spruce. Palate is full for the style, but remains delicately effervescent and smackingly hoppy. Caressing and delicious- at the apex of its style.

Clear gold pour, minimal head. Aroma holds tons of tangerine and grapefruit, honey, tree sap, pine resin, and tons of other hop characteristics. Tough to get past the hops to the malt; perhaps a bit of caramel and other sweet malt. Flavor is marked by a combination of American and English hops; aroma really reminded me of a big IPA, but the flavor betrays its English roots. Excellent bitterness, flavors are toned down from the aroma, but still very tasty; lots of evergreen and citrus still. Palate is light, smooth, and very drinkable; would love to put down a 6 pack of this stuff. Really nice brew, one of my favorite ESBs in recent memory.

Light yellow with finger width white head. Floral and citrus aroma with some fruity notes. Light body with a slightly bitter hop flavor. Really light finish. Very pleasant and enjoyable but not very complex.

Aroma: Nice malt and good hops aroma.
Appearance: Orange Amber in color, Clear with a light head.
Flavor: Nice malt with great spice backing. This was a very limited ESB.
Palate: Dry with a smooth finish.
Overall: This was a good beer not quite the ESB you usually get the flavors where to rich and strong. But spices in the brew.

Bottled. Golden coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Aroma of fruits, sweetness, flowers and light pine. Flavour is flowery, fruity, piney and has some sweetness and caramel. medium to full bodied. Ends on a sweet bitterness, which lingers for quite a while. Nice one.

Cereal grainy nose with grassy hop presence. Solid bread malt body, dry with some caramel notes. Crisp and floral hop character. Slightly resinous with sharp pine.

Pours a remarkably clear yellow with no head. Aroma is very faint - dominated by earthy hops. Taste is bread, lemon, and a solid grapefruit-like bitter finish. Drinkable and enjoyable. Would be a good thirst-quencher in the summer too.
