COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Harvest Ale is our celebration of the changing weather and the sowing of hops and barley that will be used in our upcoming brews. We usher in the fall with a classic English style Extra Special Bitter of the highest order. Deep ruby in color with an even deeper hop flavor… in fact, we throw fresh English hops into every brewing vessel, then dry hop after fermentation to impart a zesty kick. This beer has real hop character that mingles with fresh malted barley for an experience that will make you wish it were fall year ‘round.

Golden-orange, lite cloudy, thin white head. Lite lacing. Citrus, floral, and mild caramel aroma. Full bodied, mildly syrupy, flavor like aroma, pronounced floral and earthy flavor notes. Great balance, medium bitterness, and pleasant dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355 ml.

Beers like this make me like hops. Nice pour, brief, shallow, off-white head. Warm amber-gold in color - very close to the label color. The Aroma - one of the more complex and pleasing hop aromas I’ve had. The Taste - hop forward, but married to a malt background, very integrated, nicely done. It starts as if it’s going with that overused banana taste and then curves into an elegant, slightly peppery ginger zone. This is one to look for.

Not very bitter like an ESB, more like IPA with strong malts...Pretty orangish color. Nice citrus nose with strong malts. Taste follows with nice floral presence over malts. No alcohol noticed. Grainy mouthfeel. Nice to drink.

Lovely amber gold colour with a half finger width of white head carpeting the top of the beer. The aroma is of gorgeous golden malt, apricots, peaches and tangerine, helped in good part by generous hopping. This for me is one of the best aromas I have nosed in quite some time. There’s even a trace of some resinous Pacific NW hop. Lush and inviting. It is like smelling a gorgeous fruit tart drenched in toffee-like caramel. Those hops bring on a good twinge of bitterness to the fore of the flavour at first tasting. Good carbonation and plentiful fruitiness contribute to an on-going finish and even some herbal character. I want so much more of this.

On tap. Orange-red, medium white head. Aroma malty with some citrus. Medium body, lightly carbonated, no alcohol noticeable. Flavor at first is noticably hoppy with grassy and light citrus flavor, then there is some slightly sweet caramel and malt but overall hops predominate although not extremely bitter. More like a pale ale with a little extra hops than ESB. Good.

Pours light brown with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy & sweet. Taste is bittersweet hops and malts up front. The mid palate seems nonexistent, but a rather pleasant bitterness creeps in for the finish. Overall, it?s like an easy to drink mild mannered and malty IPA.

12 oz bottle, thanks Brenn79. Pours hazy orange with a collapsing white head. Aroma is floral, grapefruit, bready malt. Taste is pretty hoppy for an ESB; tastes more like an IPA. Peachy, citrusy, bready flavors. Not too shabby.

A tasty harvest ale. Doesn’t trey to be an IPA, instead it capitalizes on the fresh hop aroma and flavor.
