Pours a fairly clear gold color with a tall, sticky, long lasting white head.
Sweet lemony aroma over a sweet malt base. Just a touch of alcohol comes through.
Sweet balance with some banana and the alcohol that was hinted to in the aroma. Nice wheat bite in the finish. brewblackhole (1386), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 28, 2008 Aromas of clove, banana, wheat, and some other fruits such as apple and pear. Golden colored brew with a thin lasting head and thick sticky lacing. Flavors are pretty fruity with obvious weizen yeast characteristics. Banana, clove, spice. Soft wheat malt. I still get the pear aspects in the flavors. Some grassy bitterness as well. Sweet and fruity. Smooth with a hint of warming alcohol. Tastes like a mixture between a German hefe and a Belgian Ale to me. Juelze (927), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Oct 24, 2008 Pours a hazy golden color with large frothy white head. Aroma is clove, tangy wheat, mild citrus notes and some spiciness. Taste is much the same with with a bit more tanginess in the finish. A solid ale. Petrucci914 (603), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Oct 24, 2008 Pours a cloudy golden color with a large pillowy head, that leaves a bit of sticky lacing. Aroma is banana, clove, and orange zest. Taste is much the same, but with a bitter finish that I don’t really care for. Decent for a style that rarely excites me. sja14 (106), Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 24, 2008 Pours cloudy orange beer with white head. Definitely more complex than typical wheat beers, almost reminds me of a Belgian. Sweet banana flavor with smooth sweetness. Bubblegum hints with a noticeable alcohol presence (8% ABV). All in all, a good beer. gsmitty80 (653), Washington DC, USA

This beer is unfiltered and aged which provides a good kick in the alcohol department. Tastes almost like a beligian but not quite. It is good but i will have to rate it again to bump its stats. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 19, 2008 22 oz. bottle on 10/19/2008. Light, hazy gold body under a medium white head and sheets of sticky lace. Big bold spiciness with dominant clove notes, fruity aromas, banana and citrus follow closely, and some floral notes in the background. Gentle honey like sweetness gives way to a tangy, wheaty character that ushers in a sharp, distinct, and welcome bitterness. Smooth, creamy, medium body and a lingering dry finish that pleases the palate. Another good one from Southern Tier, a brewer that doesn’t seem to get the accolades it deserves.
