3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 cmc619 (240) - USA - FEB 10, 2012
From bottle into Boston lager glass. Pretty much translucent, dark gold, with a thin white head that laces after it sits. Nice crisp, sharp aroma of hops and citrus. Really dry beer. Not super bitter; just has that almost-chalky citrus palate. The palate and finish are probably the most intriguing parts of this beer. Everything else is subdued and well within balance.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 alcaponejunior (86) - Missouri, USA - JAN 20, 2012
Golden tan and crystal clear, 1.5 finger head and pretty decent lace. Smell is grassy, grainy, malty, and lemony with a tinge of hop zest. Taste is quite nice, the lemon comes through subtly but right away, followed by a nice grainy wheat flavor and a nicely balanced addition of hops. Body is light to drink but almost full in the mouth, lemony malts finish it off. Overall it’s quite tasty stuff. I’m really beginning to like this brewery, going to several of their beers as regular choices.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 keanex (191) - Williamstown, New Jersey, USA - DEC 23, 2011
Poured from a bottle into my pint glass.
A: Slightly hazy golden beer with a 1 finger foamy head that dissipates quickly into a thick lacing.
S: Citrusy with light hops and a nice wheat scent.
T: Citrus foretaste, then crisp wheat flavors roll over the tongue and finish nice florally and hoppy.
M: Medium-High carbonation, medium bodied.
O: My favorite summer beer so far. Very refreshing and easy to down.

650ml bottle pours golden in color with a finger of white head and a little lacing on the glass. Aroma is light citrus and grassy malts. Taste is light malty sweetness with a citrusy hop bitterness with some spices. Light body and modest carbonation. This is a decent wheat beer with a little extra hoppiness that was quite enjoyable.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 shonobiwan (61) - Sound Beach, New York, USA - DEC 7, 2011
Long Island, NY - 12 oz. bottle poured a slightly golden hazy color with no head and no lace. As you bring it up for a sip hardly any aroma maybe a slight hint of malt. Taste is surprisingly light and refreshing for a beer called Hop Sun. A mellow blend of hop and malt flavors with the slightest sweetness coming from the wheat. Nothing special but light and refreshing.

Fra kran på Schouskjelleren, Oslo 18 Okt 11. Lys gylden. Litt uklar. Dalende skum. Svakt syrlig aroma. Fruktig smak. Røde plommer. Lite annet. Søtt preg.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 wilderthanyou (587) - Guelph, CANADA - NOV 13, 2011
Pours a hazy gold with a short lived white fizzy head. The aroma is light and hoppy, lemon zest, wheat, and barn. The flavour starts out with a sort of light wheat beer profile, quickly switches over to some hoppy, light grapefruit bitterness, ends on a mix, with prevalent lemon zest flavour that lingers in the finish. Tasty, light, refreshing. Good stuff.
