3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ Exira Beer Summit IV. Thanks Justin! Pours a hazy yellow orange appearance with a white head. Grapefruit, lemon citrusy, fairly floral aroma. A bit spicy, herbal, light piney, citrusy, mango, sweet wheat aroma. Easy to drink.

Is it wrong to think someone wasnít hoppy enough? This had slight citrus undertones and some straw notes when I swallowed, and nothing else. Fuck, where are the hops in this? "Meh" canít even describe this.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle into a Duvel tulip.
A: Pours a beautiful golden color. The head is a two finger white shade. I love its creamy texture, and the lacing it leaves behind. Aesthetically, this one is hard to beat - even if the utter lack of yeasty haze makes me wary.
S: The hops here are a little disappointing, only providing a light tone of lemongrass and grapefruit. The wheat base obviously doesnít provide much aroma itself, and without any notable yeast esters, the nose in general simply underwhelms.
T: The flavor profile is better, if utterly simple. An initial salvo of lemongrass hops gives way to some finishing wheat flavor. It certainly tastes like this one is somewhat loaded with Centennial hops. Otherwise, itís not terribly interesting.
M: Like the appearance suggested, this is very clean for a wheat ale - in this case, not a bad thing. The light, dry, and crisp texture is aided by carbonation that isnít overdone. This is one you could easily chug.
O: This oneís okay. Maybe Iíd like it better on a warmer afternoon (summer brews in April, whatís next...Oktoberfest brews in August? Wait donít answer that) All in all, Iím a bit let down considering how much I enjoy a great hoppy wheat ale. Having said that, itís worth trying, if not seeking out.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The pour is a clear yellow-golden color with a thin white head on top. The aroma mostly as expected: some grassy notes, flowers, citrusy hops with lemon and orange peel coming to mind, and light wheaty malt. Going down the beer is light-bodied, refreshing, and very suitable for the hot Florida weather. Thereís flavors of biscuit malt, lemon zing, and a soft wheat character. The finish is slightly dry and hoppy, although itís not at all aggressively hopped, even for a wheat. I like it. A nice easy going wheat beer to kick back with when the weather gets warm.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours a bud light color, the only difference being a puffy white head that sticks around forever. Dead aroma. Not much at all, really. Taste is similarly muted, with a pissy finish and a fuck you afterbite. This beer is garbage.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I donít get much from the aroma but the taste is a much deeper and complex version of your average wheat. It pours straw yellow and doesnít have a head or leave hardly any lacing. The hops and malts really blend well to make this a well balanced beer. Crisp and solid overall.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Southern Tier makes it into Texas! Great summer brew, light and refreshing but still interestingly complex. Lemon and wheat with a nice shock of hops to keep you awake.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: pour is fairly clear light golden with a modest white head in this glass. Spotty lacing here.. the nose is lemon zest and biscuits, with some modest hop presence. I find the aroma to be the highlight of the brew. I thought the brew was too modest. They went for an easy summer brew and accomplished that, but I feel like the zesty, mild bitter wheat ale here was one dimensional
