Commercial Description:
We craft this much like a sculptor who uses only a hammer and chisel to shape stone into a masterpiece. Hoppe is spawned of these few essentials: barley, wheat, hops, yeast and water. This limited palette is an exercise in minimalism, with refined elements which are deliberately selected. This simple combination creates a golden shimmering brew infused with delicate aromas. The artful nature of this beer is exposed with the first taste. As the malt and hops created a composition of flavors, and elegant finish leaves an impression that your tastes will not soon forget. Don't be deceived by th innocence of Hoppe. Please enjoy in moderation.

Bomber. Minimalism???? are they insane or just being sarcastic. A strong version of SNPA with some wheat an yeast tang going on. This bomber emptied far too quickly.

Bottle 750 ml, 8 C AR: american hops, cherry/kriek (a little bit like Timmermans kriek) AP: rockey, medium high head (a bit apricot in color), bras yellow body F: american hops, great/heavy bitterness -lasting, dry fruits - mix of plum and apricot. Suggested serving temp is 5,5 C - that’s a bit too cold!

This is one powerful beer! I suppose this is pretty similar to Stone’s Arrogant Bastard, but I don’t know which one is tastier. This one surely is a damn fine beer! It pours a hazy and cloudy dark golden color with a big and sticky off-white head. The head leaves an attractive and sticky cascading lace around the glass. The aroma is full of hops, bread, wheat, grass, grapefruit, orange and a slight hint of lemon zest. The body is smooth and palatable. The flavors are bold, spicy, dry and hoppy, with hints of grapefruit, orange, bread and floral notes. The spicy and dry finish also touches on a bready note, with an ever-so-slight hint of alcohol. This is one fantastic pale ale!

Bottle. The color was yellowish, fairly light one. The foam was white and a couple of centimeters high. Nice aroma of hops, caramel and fruit. The flavor contained course a lot of hops, citrus, caramel and tropical fruits. Not that much grapefruit. Bitterness was there but it was not too intense. The beer seemed balanced, easy to drink.

Bottle from Kahn’s (S.T. in Indy, FINALLY!) Pours hazy pale orange with fading foamy white head. Nose is moderate citrus hops with a pine background and some faint caramel malt on the sweeter side. Taste is mildly carbonated, mild hop flavor, some citrus tones and slight astringency. Basically, this is what they say it is...pretty simple, but good for what it is. Refreshing to say the least.

The aroma is papery with citrus, yeast, and sour dough bread. The appearance is hazy gold orange with a large head. The flavor is like the aroma with a bitter, cardboard finish. The palate is smooth but no outstanding. Overall this is just one of those underwhelming beers that does not suffer from quality problems it is just not that outstanding.

Bottle, 12 fl. oz. Pours a golden beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is hops (english hops). The flavor follows the nose. The palate is bitter and overall this is a good beer.

Pretty good - this one would be an excellent one to cask condition! Aroma is grassy and floral. Malt backbone is solid, not too sweet like some ST beers can be. Great MW IPA in the tradition of B2H.
