Commercial Description:
We craft this much like a sculptor who uses only a hammer and chisel to shape stone into a masterpiece. Hoppe is spawned of these few essentials: barley, wheat, hops, yeast and water. This limited palette is an exercise in minimalism, with refined elements which are deliberately selected. This simple combination creates a golden shimmering brew infused with delicate aromas. The artful nature of this beer is exposed with the first taste. As the malt and hops created a composition of flavors, and elegant finish leaves an impression that your tastes will not soon forget. Don't be deceived by th innocence of Hoppe. Please enjoy in moderation.

Bottle. Orange colored beer with a white head on it. Smell is fruity, some hops, alcohol, a little bit of citrus, and kind of that horrid old hop smell that IPA’s get when they have been held onto for too long. Taste is lively, with that same stale hop taste - This bottle might have been old - a little bit of citrus and orange in the flavor. I can tell that it should have been better than it was, because it just didnt taste fresh at all. Kind of a disappointment, but I would try it again to see if I could score a fresh bottle.

Very good. Thick and creamy with a lot of sweet malt, followed by a dry hop finish. Straightforward but well done.

It is orange-golden with a creamy head. The aroma has a light sweetness and notes of fruits like mango, citrus and caramel. The mouthfeel is full and fat. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of caramel, fruit and a lot of different citrus fruits. It is harmonic and very nice.

(22 oz bottle) slightly hazy gold with generous white head. Floral hop aroma. Flavor is floral/grassy/pineapple hops, more grass and pine in the finish. Not quite enough malt for balance.

Bottled 650ml (CK). Slightly hazy orange color, good cloudy off-white head, lace. Very pleasant fresh grass, pineapple and citrus hoppy in the aroma, also some woody notes. Very malty, hop juicy flavor. Citrus, pine, Amarillo is well pronounced, kind of balsa wood notes. Very balanced and enjoyable.

Bottle. Clear and golden coloured with a medium sized white head. Quite well balanced allthough somewhat malty for a pale ale. Nice mouth feel and a great easy drinkable pale ale.

Bottle. Pours a sticky looking golden amber with a large creamy white head. Citrus and pineapple hit the nose right away, with a little malt in the background. Sweet, malty, light and crisp with little caramel and vanilla notes leading into a light gentle bitter on the finish.

Head is huge...half a glass after five minutes. Body is a murky gold color. Fruity aroma. Sweet malts on the front end. Well balanced bitterness on the back end. I continue to awed by Southern tier offerings.
