Commercial Description:
We craft this much like a sculptor who uses only a hammer and chisel to shape stone into a masterpiece. Hoppe is spawned of these few essentials: barley, wheat, hops, yeast and water. This limited palette is an exercise in minimalism, with refined elements which are deliberately selected. This simple combination creates a golden shimmering brew infused with delicate aromas. The artful nature of this beer is exposed with the first taste. As the malt and hops created a composition of flavors, and elegant finish leaves an impression that your tastes will not soon forget. Don't be deceived by th innocence of Hoppe. Please enjoy in moderation.

Bottle courtesy of DeputyAndy. 22 oz bomber. Mastery through simplicity. Delicate floral hop aroma that drenches the room. A completely different use of hops than UnEarthly, but equally applaudable. Initial mouth is fluffy. Taste is soft and linger with bitter leaf notes. Execellent brewers description, somehow this beer really can be best summed up as innocent. This really crushed my expectations. Awesome

When I bought this, I had meant to grab the IPA, I was disappointed to realize that I had grabbed the Extra Pale Ale. My disappointment was a distant memory after my first whiff of this hall of fame beer. Beautiful floral and piney hop aroma. Starts just a bit sweet on the tongue, and then has a great biting hoppy, piney bitterness, with a grassy resiny hope flavor. Just enough malt to balance the hops, but not enough to be noticed. Finishes with a grassy bitterness that lasted quite some time. This also happened to be an unbelievable pairing with Humboldt Fog chesse, which had the bitterness and complexity to compete with this masterpiece.

Bottle. Orange colored beer with a white head on it. Smell is fruity, some hops, alcohol, a little bit of citrus, and kind of that horrid old hop smell that IPA’s get when they have been held onto for too long. Taste is lively, with that same stale hop taste - This bottle might have been old - a little bit of citrus and orange in the flavor. I can tell that it should have been better than it was, because it just didnt taste fresh at all. Kind of a disappointment, but I would try it again to see if I could score a fresh bottle.

Very good. Thick and creamy with a lot of sweet malt, followed by a dry hop finish. Straightforward but well done.

It is orange-golden with a creamy head. The aroma has a light sweetness and notes of fruits like mango, citrus and caramel. The mouthfeel is full and fat. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of caramel, fruit and a lot of different citrus fruits. It is harmonic and very nice.

(22 oz bottle) slightly hazy gold with generous white head. Floral hop aroma. Flavor is floral/grassy/pineapple hops, more grass and pine in the finish. Not quite enough malt for balance.

Bottled 650ml (CK). Slightly hazy orange color, good cloudy off-white head, lace. Very pleasant fresh grass, pineapple and citrus hoppy in the aroma, also some woody notes. Very malty, hop juicy flavor. Citrus, pine, Amarillo is well pronounced, kind of balsa wood notes. Very balanced and enjoyable.
