Commercial Description:
We craft this much like a sculptor who uses only a hammer and chisel to shape stone into a masterpiece. Hoppe is spawned of these few essentials: barley, wheat, hops, yeast and water. This limited palette is an exercise in minimalism, with refined elements which are deliberately selected. This simple combination creates a golden shimmering brew infused with delicate aromas. The artful nature of this beer is exposed with the first taste. As the malt and hops created a composition of flavors, and elegant finish leaves an impression that your tastes will not soon forget. Don't be deceived by th innocence of Hoppe. Please enjoy in moderation.

Thanks to MrChopin for this beer. Pours gold with a frothy, rocky head. Spicy hops, pineapple, grain, grass and lemons on the nose. Flavor is crisp, spicy hops with well integrated malts. Clean dry finish. Very nice. Thanks Kevin!

medium gold with thick white head. grassy and spicy hop aroma. solid but not overwhelming bitterness with some nice grassy and spicy hop notes from the Columbus and Amarillo hops finishing with some mild malt balance that is present, but not dominating. finish is nice and dry. a solid if not a leading version of a west coast style dry ipa

Bottle, 8%. Quite caramelly aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Very small white head. Very good caramelly flavour, seems to come from the hops. Good grassy hop bite.

22 oz bottle from MrChopin, thanks man! This beer poured a light orange color with a long lasting 1 1/2 inch head. The aroma consisted of some pine and yeast. I found the beer to be very easy to drink since the alcohol was completely masked. I did not like the strong malt backbone on this beer. I found it to be over powering and distracting to the hop profile. It was a decent beer but not something that I would search out for again.

Not for me. I should probably try this again, as I’m usually a big fan of Southern Tier. This one is rather simple, which was the intent, but turned me off. Pours a light yellow-orange color. Aroma is sharp metallic hops and water. Just a touch of yeast. Flavor is much the same, watery hops, with just a touch of yeast and grain. Very thin on the palate.

Bottle at a mates house ... Thanks to Fonefan for this one ... Light amber ... big american pale ale hop nose ... resiny and syrupy ... some pine hop ... some of that pale ale hop ... medium bitterness ... that builds ... a little tart ... full of flavour.

Bottle. Hoppy aroma, with fruit and some floral. Golden body, off-white head. Nicely bitter flavor profile, lots of hops, pine, citrus, lengthy finish. Excellent.

Thin creamy lasting head. Hazy gold in color. A pleasant hoppy/grainy flavor. An earthy flavor on the palate. Overal a very good beer. I make sure to have a 22oz. bottle once or twice a month.
