Quite well balanced allthough somewhat malty for a pale ale. Nice mouth feel and a great easy drinkable pale ale. j12601 (1217), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA

Bottle. Pours a sticky looking golden amber with a large creamy white head. Citrus and pineapple hit the nose right away, with a little malt in the background. Sweet, malty, light and crisp with little caramel and vanilla notes leading into a light gentle bitter on the finish.

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 14, 2009 Head is huge...half a glass after five minutes. Body is a murky gold color. Fruity aroma. Sweet malts on the front end. Well balanced bitterness on the back end. I continue to awed by Southern tier offerings. Zinister (1199), Houston, Texas, USA

Spicy hops, pineapple, grain, grass and lemons on the nose. Flavor is crisp, spicy hops with well integrated malts. Clean dry finish. Very nice. Thanks Kevin! joshwilfong (778), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 19/20 | Mar 12, 2009 Bottle, 8%. Quite caramelly aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Very small white head. Very good caramelly flavour, seems to come from the hops. Good grassy hop bite. roborb (60), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 11, 2009 22 oz bottle from MrChopin, thanks man!
This beer poured a light orange color with a long lasting 1 1/2 inch head. The aroma consisted of some pine and yeast. I found the beer to be very easy to drink since the alcohol was completely masked. I did not like the strong malt backbone on this beer. I found it to be over powering and distracting to the hop profile. It was a decent beer but not something that I would search out for again.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 11, 2009 Not for me. I should probably try this again, as I’m usually a big fan of Southern Tier. This one is rather simple, which was the intent, but turned me off. Pours a light yellow-orange color. Aroma is sharp metallic hops and water. Just a touch of yeast. Flavor is much the same, watery hops, with just a touch of yeast and grain. Very thin on the palate.
