Jan 26, 2009 0.65 l bottle at Konttori, Tampere. Bright copper color. Sweet, caramelly, warming, and hoppy aroma with pineapple and pine. Bittersweet, toffeish and hoppy flavor with grapefruity, piney and herbal hops. Tastes fortified with warming alcohol and hint of alcohol sharpness also. Good hop character but I found this a bit too sweet and chewy, not very drinkable.

Jan 26, 2009 Bottle. Low white fluffy and lasting head. Hazy amber body. Fruity caramel aroma and a bit of alcohol and hops. Pretty hoppy flavor though in combination with the high alcohol percentage is disguising other flavors. Low carbonation and a long bitter aftertaste.

Jan 19, 2009 Poured at 50. Comes in with a sweet hoppy aroma, which is quite distinct. It has a different flavor. It’s almost like it starts at the back of the tongue and works forward, but then lingers on the front. A really good beer, and quite enjoyable.

Jan 18, 2009 Pours light amber with a medium white head. It has a nice grassy, yet citrusy hop nose with lots of hops on the palate, with a bit of sweetness like honey to balance it out. Nice bitter finish.

Jan 18, 2009 650 ml bottle shared by tupalev at his KW group tasting. pours light golden with a white head that stays as you drink. big american hop nose with almost no malt present. huge hop flavours with again a lack of malts. i love hops but i really like when they play off a malt spine and this brew was simply all about the hops. a great brew but not my fav hop bomb.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light heavy hoppy, perfume, orange, citrus - lime. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [260908]
