Commercial Description:
We craft this much like a sculptor who uses only a hammer and chisel to shape stone into a masterpiece. Hoppe is spawned of these few essentials: barley, wheat, hops, yeast and water. This limited palette is an exercise in minimalism, with refined elements which are deliberately selected. This simple combination creates a golden shimmering brew infused with delicate aromas. The artful nature of this beer is exposed with the first taste. As the malt and hops created a composition of flavors, and elegant finish leaves an impression that your tastes will not soon forget. Don't be deceived by th innocence of Hoppe. Please enjoy in moderation.

Bottle shared by wolf. Light yellow in color, ok head. I swear I can smell some chocolate maybe some caramel. Taste is small amount of chocolate intially and the aftertaste is hops. Light texture easy to drink. Unique beer. I enjoyed it. Thanks wolf.

Pours very, very light - like a slightly hazy apple cider, with a thick (but fleeting) head. Really doesn’t look like much. Aroma is tropical fruit (pineapple, satsumas) overlaid with pungeant hops. This actually has a very agreeable flavor. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot, and it isn’t something that will wow your taste buds, but it boasts a wonderful balance. The flavor is very gentle, but not at all dilute. Hops, wheat and light malts, with a bit of sweet fruit. Clean palate, very refreshing if not a bit overcarbonated. Overall, I’m a fan.

Fantasic beer all around. Very well balanced between hop and malt. Very clean and refreshing while still being high alcohol. NIce light citrus flavors. Southern Tier does it again.

THe aroma is lemon zest. Mmmmm. The color is a beautiful hazy pale golden color with a nice delicate white head that is dissapating. THe flavor is of pale buisquit malt and citrus hops. Perhaps my favorite ’’American Strong Ale’’.

pours a pale orange with a thick two finger head. Nose is all hops, citrusy and floral. Pure hops on the palate, with little malt backbone to back it up. Major bitter bite at the end, with notable alchohol burn. Dry and astringent. This beer proves that a beer is not made by hops alone. Not one that I’ll revisit.

A great mix of sweetness and dryness. Great orange and lime citrus. Palate is perhaps a bit too thin but just right on the carbonation for this style. Finishes with a soft, flowery, citrus goodness. Slightly metallic, but it doesn’t take away from the beer really.

Pours a golden yellow with a thinnish white head that leaves some pretty solid lacing. The aroma is gentle citrus hops and a little grapefruit with a little caramel sweetness. Flavor is quite gentle with citrus hops making themselves known. Finish lasts for a good fruity while. Quite enjoyable beer.
