Commercial Description:
We craft this much like a sculptor who uses only a hammer and chisel to shape stone into a masterpiece. Hoppe is spawned of these few essentials: barley, wheat, hops, yeast and water. This limited palette is an exercise in minimalism, with refined elements which are deliberately selected. This simple combination creates a golden shimmering brew infused with delicate aromas. The artful nature of this beer is exposed with the first taste. As the malt and hops created a composition of flavors, and elegant finish leaves an impression that your tastes will not soon forget. Don't be deceived by th innocence of Hoppe. Please enjoy in moderation.

Bottle: Pale golden in color with a large, creamy off-white head. The aroma has a warm and sweet quality from the citrus and caramel notes. Fruity. Taste is smooth, yet seemingly malt oriented. Again, caramel and fruity notes. Light florals and some soapyness in the lightly bitter trailer. I had more hops in mind here...

Bottle. Pretty gold pour with a sturdy, fluffy white head. Aroma is exactly how you’d expect it to smell. Luscious fresh hops, citrus oils, resinous conifers, orange peel and caramel. Taste is rich hop oils, citrus peel, grapefruit, caramel, chewy malt, pine needles, and spicy hops. It simply melts in your mouth. Rather full bodied for a pale ale, but not full bodied like an imperial stout. Tingling, prickly carbonation. Slick and oily with a lingering bitterness. There’s more hops, flowery notes, pine sap, citrus oils, orange peel, toffee and grapefruit juice during the finish. This has me wanting to drink more, though it’s far from a session type beer. Yummy either way!

gOOD, citrusy hop aroma, slight pine. ABV is not noticable. Very easy drinker for 8%, and somthing that I would purchase again.

Pours golden with off-white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, pale malt, and citrus hop. Flavor begins with sweet toffee and caramel and moves to some delicious citrus hops, finishing with bitter pine. Flavor is a little too sugary, but pretty damn good nonetheless.

Pours clear golden with one finger off white head that left good lacing to the bottom. Nice hop aroma of citrus and a little pine behind a sweet malt nose. Flavor starts sweet, but balances with a smooth hop bitterness sets a while on the tongue. Med. body and a little thick in the texture. Good beer that is well balanced and a pleasure to drink.

Pours a nice looking orange/yellow color with a nice white head and good lacing on the glass. Aroma is almost like sniffing a sweetened grapefruit while standing in a Christmas tree lot. There are a lot of different hops in this one, and they’re all playing in the nose of this beer. Flavor is a little sweet, but there are a lot of hops in this one. Backend is almost like a sour orange. the hops in this are almost overwhelming, but I think the malt backbone is just strong enough to support it. Good beer. Challenging beer.
