Commercial Description:
We craft this much like a sculptor who uses only a hammer and chisel to shape stone into a masterpiece. Hoppe is spawned of these few essentials: barley, wheat, hops, yeast and water. This limited palette is an exercise in minimalism, with refined elements which are deliberately selected. This simple combination creates a golden shimmering brew infused with delicate aromas. The artful nature of this beer is exposed with the first taste. As the malt and hops created a composition of flavors, and elegant finish leaves an impression that your tastes will not soon forget. Don't be deceived by th innocence of Hoppe. Please enjoy in moderation.

Pours an intriguiing uniform orange-gold. Faint white head. Aromas of orange, grass, lemon, rye and perfume are tone-perfect. Soft palate, accented by a gentle bite of hops and astringency and rounded out by a full grapefruit, lush hop finish. Really a very good American strong that nods to the Belgian classics.

Pours a very pale color with a thin white head. Nice hoppy aroma. Flavor has some nice pine and citrus flavors. The malt blends nicely. Well balanced and a solid beer. Hides the 10% very well.

Bottle. Pours a hazy copper color with a pillowy white head. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, orange, caramel. Flavor is a nice punch of grapefruit, orange, pine, and caramel. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finishes with a prickly bitterness and warming alcohol. Nice

Pours a dark amber color. Aroma is heavy on the hops. Notes of hops, sweet malts, and some grapefruit/citrus. Overall it is a very well crafted beverage.

Pours golden with a decent white head. Aroma is excellent with great floral hops. Taste is also very hoppy with some citrus and sweet malts. Some light spice as well. Finish is not overly bitter. While I like big hoppy brews, it’s nice to have a beer that isn’t overpowering with hoppy bitterness. Mouthfeel is nice with light carbonation.

An amber/gold pour with a nice white head and lace. Aroma is malty, hoppy, with a touch of abv. On the front it is almost fruity until you rub your tongue around in your mouth and it becomes a hop dance. A hint of grapefruitiness on the finish. Carbonation is good as is the mouthfeel. Carbonation is just a tad foamy which kept me from giving it a 5 for palate. I like it very well. I drank the whole 22 ozer and it was about 52* instead of the recommended 42 when I started. A lot of flavor and a lot of punch.

Tap @ Blind Tiger. Pours a nice golden color with a generous white head. Aroma is heavy and pleasant floral hops. Taste is the same with notes of malt and citrus thrown in as well. Heavy carbonation, but remains smooth and drinkable throughout. Very nice beer.

Nice floral hoppy nose, which follows through on the taste, & finishes very clean, leaving nothing but the flowery hops at the back of the tongue. Initially sweet, & not too bitter. Thick, but not too much so; just about right for a double-eye.
