Commercial Description:
We craft this much like a sculptor who uses only a hammer and chisel to shape stone into a masterpiece. Hoppe is spawned of these few essentials: barley, wheat, hops, yeast and water. This limited palette is an exercise in minimalism, with refined elements which are deliberately selected. This simple combination creates a golden shimmering brew infused with delicate aromas. The artful nature of this beer is exposed with the first taste. As the malt and hops created a composition of flavors, and elegant finish leaves an impression that your tastes will not soon forget. Don't be deceived by th innocence of Hoppe. Please enjoy in moderation.

22oz bottle thanks to Ryan at Funky Buddha. Pours a mostly clear amber. Grassy hops with a bit of citrus on the nose, no real malt on the nose. Flavor is super grassy with some hay like malt and hops popping about. Tasty but nothing great. Solid Imperial Pale Ale.

Bottle. Pours a golden orange with an off white head. Hoppy with a grassy floral character and a pine y grapefruit body. Sweeter malty notes with a mild warming. Great.

Pours a hazy goldern orange with a tight white head. This leave some good lace in the glass. A strong citrus aroma with some slight pear ester notes. Highly carbonated and it brings out some of the bitter characteristics. Some spice and wheat notes. The finish is bitter sweet and yeasty. There are pleanty of hops in this brew and they are spread out very nicely. A really good beer, interesting and hoppy, I like it.

Bomber into a snifter. Pours an almost clear golden yellow/orange with minimal white head. Aroma is fruity citrus hops, honey, sweet malt. Flavor is similar with sweet malt up front and citrus hops balanced in the finish. Nice beer.

Poured from a bottle brought home from Seattle. Pretty golden orange colors. Aromas are light of citrus and honey. Medium bodied. Nice lemon, piney hops along with sweet balance. Finish is pretty bitter and slightly dry. Very tasty beer reminiscent of a good strong IPA.

bottle, from the Foodery II. Good aroma sweet. Citrus, lemon & grapefruit, bread & biscuit, maybe a stale cereal. little banana. Clean yellowy gold color, Massive head, lively carbonation, spotty lace. second pour had bunch of sediment. Bitter flavor, Medium body, lite creamy syrupy, bitter dry finish, Well, didn’t overly enjoy this one, the stale part I reference bothered me. Way to much carbonation.
