COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We craft this much like a sculptor who uses only a hammer and chisel to shape stone into a masterpiece. Hoppe is spawned of these few essentials: barley, wheat, hops, yeast and water. This limited palette is an exercise in minimalism, with refined elements which are deliberately selected. This simple combination creates a golden shimmering brew infused with delicate aromas. The artful nature of this beer is exposed with the first taste. As the malt and hops created a composition of flavors, and elegant finish leaves an impression that your tastes will not soon forget. Don’t be deceived by th innocence of Hoppe. Please enjoy in moderation.

Bomber (with a screwtop!). Poured a clear orange with a minimal head into a snifter. Aroma predominately of piney hops, with some citrus and rock candy underneath. Some soapiness in the nose as well. Light caramel/hard candy malt flavor infused with abundant pine and citrus hops, with bit of earth in the end. Mildly bitter hop aftertaste. Medium bodied with a slightly oily mouthfeel. A step down from the bigger "Unearthly" which I loved, but still a fairly decent 2IPA which sips well and strikes a pretty good balance among its parts.

Malt, hops, and little bit of leather in the aroma. Clear golden brown with a nice big head. Medium palate. Very earth flavor up front with storng hops as well. A good malt presence is found quickly. Spicey hops found troughout.

22 oz. bottle from Capone’s. Sweet and piney hop aroma with just enough bready-sugarish malt scent to make it really appetizing. Flavor is a pleasant, crisp offering of floral-pine hops that mix well with some malty sweetness. Straightforward and tasty - nothing flashy about this beer. Reminds me a bit of Troegs Nugget Nectar, though not quite at NN level. Quality brew. Big ups to Southern Tier for creating a new brew of good quality.

A slightly hazy morning urine color. Thin head, some lace. Pleasant aroma of sugar coated mangos, apricots and pine needles. Medium bodied, well carbonated, sweet, clean pale malts, very fresh, well integrated bitterness and overall balance. Long aftertaste. Nice brew and a little different take on the style. Even though all IPA’s have been boring me, this is a very quality ale:)

Got some sweet malt and tons of piney hops.Pours a medium copper with a big white head which leaves some nice sheeting on the glass.Peppery amarillo hops and a good balance of malt dominate the flavor.Full mouthfeel with a well balanced finish.

Bottle courtesy of shadey. Very interesting take on the style. Saw this compared to Alesmith X, and I agree. I would’ve never guessed that this was 10%. Nice lacing on a clear straw brew w/ a nice, but not overpowering hop nose. Tastes just like the descriptor says, like an imperial pale ale, not a IIPA. Nice, interesting, powerful.

Clear golden brown body beneath a thin white foam. Aroma is filled with apricots and grapefruit. Bracing bitterness that melds into flavors of pine and citrus. A hint of toasty and sweet malts appear just before a dry finish.

Very nice. Has a very hoopy aroma with a slight citurs. Nice taste with citrus, bitter for the eighty some IBU’s. Good masking of the alchol. Definate buy again.

Gold in color with medium white head. Aroma is lemony, almost lemon-grassy, and not floral or delicious. Taste is bitter and uncomplex. Not a favorite, especially at $10/22oz. Skip this one in favor of their much better Unearthly IPA.

Bomber: Aroma is a nice fluid hop rather subdued for a IIPA athough it is a IEPA so whatever. Appearance is a golden color with a small soapy tan head that lingers. Taste is quite nice with a definate hoppiness, quite bitter and very refreshing. Palate is bitter and tangy with a touch of acidity. Overall, I actually like it better than the Un*Earthly that I had a couple of days ago. very drinkable and quite tasty.
