omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden May 9, 2007 Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear pale amber, minimal head. Strong lychee-like hop aroma. Sweet and full bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Thick and dominated by soapy, perfumy, juicy citric hops. Punishing almost inky bitterness. Lots of flavours, but more rough than harmonious or complex. Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jan 28, 2008 Hazy golden-amber colour. Rich, resiny hop aroma is bright and appetizing. Really rich citrus, pine, resin. The pale malt signature is robust but simple breads. The alcohol comes in late to mix with some of the resin. All the same, I love both these hops but get the sense they probably don’t belong in the same beer together. joergen (6240), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 12, 2007 Bottle, thanks to MPA for sharing.

clear dark copper, lasting frothy white head, lots of lace, lots of spicy peppery aroma with lightly sweet malt, creamy body, lots of spicy hop flavor, enough sweetness to add balance and body, light citrus adds complexity, only a hint of the alcohol but well covered by the spices,
