May 9, 2007 Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear pale amber, minimal head. Strong lychee-like hop aroma. Sweet and full bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Thick and dominated by soapy, perfumy, juicy citric hops. Punishing almost inky bitterness. Lots of flavours, but more rough than harmonious or complex.

Jan 28, 2008 Hazy golden-amber colour. Rich, resiny hop aroma is bright and appetizing. Really rich citrus, pine, resin. The pale malt signature is robust but simple breads. The alcohol comes in late to mix with some of the resin. All the same, I love both these hops but get the sense they probably don’t belong in the same beer together.

Hoppy aroma of malts, pine needles and grape fruits.
Flavour of hops, caramel, pine needles and grape fruits.
Dry hoppy finish.

clear dark copper, lasting frothy white head, lots of lace, lots of spicy peppery aroma with lightly sweet malt, creamy body, lots of spicy hop flavor, enough sweetness to add balance and body, light citrus adds complexity, only a hint of the alcohol but well covered by the spices,

May 11, 2007 (22oz bottle, thanks Drew) Clear apple juice body with medium off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit/earthy, some wood, light white wine. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit, caramel, some lemon. Sticky medium-full body.
