Nov 26, 2008 11/21/08 notes: bomber, part of tasting. Pours light yellow-orange. Aroma features floral bouquet. Palate was dry, a touch thin, and sticky on the finish. Primary flavors transitioned, from flowery hops on the front-palate, to a nice sweetness with fruit, to a hoppy, slightly ashen finish. Overall, this was quite nice, but lacking the vibrancy of say, GD’s Fresh Hop.

Oct 15, 2008 Pours a golden yellow with a thinnish white head that leaves some pretty solid lacing. The aroma is gentle citrus hops and a little grapefruit with a little caramel sweetness. Flavor is quite gentle with citrus hops making themselves known. Finish lasts for a good fruity while. Quite enjoyable beer.

Apr 26, 2008 A- Pours a deep yellowish orange color with a small but sustainable white head.
S- Smell is light bready maltiness accompanied by a strong burst of hops.
T- Taste is bready, sweet with an intense bitter hop kick at the end. Very dry.
M- semi viscous, very carbonated and super dry, leaves the tongue seconds after it is ingested except for a bitterness.
D- Semi drinkable, I could drink this glass easily but I didn’t want another after.

Mar 6, 2008 Hazy amber ppour with white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, and fruit. Flavors of citrus and hops. Drinks like an IPA. Good beer overall.

Jun 26, 2008 Pours a nice looking orange/yellow color with a nice white head and good lacing on the glass.
Aroma is almost like sniffing a sweetened grapefruit while standing in a Christmas tree lot. There are a lot of different hops in this one, and they’re all playing in the nose of this beer.
Flavor is a little sweet, but there are a lot of hops in this one. Backend is almost like a sour orange. the hops in this are almost overwhelming, but I think the malt backbone is just strong enough to support it. Good beer. Challenging beer.

Dec 14, 2008 Bottle courtesy of sebletitje. Pours a clear yellow color with thin white head. Little retention or lacing. Aroma is honey, sweet malt, hops, citrus, grapefruit, fresh grass and hay. Maybe a hint of fresh bread. Flavor is sweet and malty with notes of citrus, hops, some slight bitterness. Generally medium body with a sweet and hoppy finish.

Jun 5, 2009 Bottle. Nice beer. Orange/gold pour. Light head. Lots of grapefruit and pine in this one. Flavor is bitter and hoppy. citrus and pine trees. Some malt balances this one well. Good.

May 16, 2008 Tap at Capital Ale House 05/13/08. Clear dark golden with large frothy head that stuck around. Big floral/citrusy hop aroma. Pronounced citrusy and fruity hop flavors over a light pilsner or other malt backbone with some fruity yeast character. Fairly full mouthfeel with some residual hop bitterness in the finish and some alchohol warming. Nicely balanced Hoppe beer.
