Commercial Description:
We craft this much like a sculptor who uses only a hammer and chisel to shape stone into a masterpiece. Hoppe is spawned of these few essentials: barley, wheat, hops, yeast and water. This limited palette is an exercise in minimalism, with refined elements which are deliberately selected. This simple combination creates a golden shimmering brew infused with delicate aromas. The artful nature of this beer is exposed with the first taste. As the malt and hops created a composition of flavors, and elegant finish leaves an impression that your tastes will not soon forget. Don't be deceived by th innocence of Hoppe. Please enjoy in moderation.

Tasted at Sean and Ryan’s party. Yellow amber color. Sweet malty. Mellow hop taste, but nice hop aroma. Delicious. Another Southern Tier winner.

22oz. bottle. Fruity, hoppy nose, leafy, floral and citric with notes of lemon, faintly sweet pale malt, spice and pine. Clear medium golden color with a lasting, fine head leaving sheets of thin lacing. Flavor profile is a combination of prominent, lasting, bitter and spicy hops, gently doughy malt sweetness, orange, lemon and apricot fruitiness, and touches of peppery, warming alcohol lasting long into the finish. Tingly and active on the palate, body is medium-full. An interesting creation, this is.

Draft at Buster’s. Pours a deep copper-orange body with creamy white head. Sweet malt and citrus aroma with a hint of floral hops. Light to medium body with a somewhat lively mouthfeel. Flavor of sweet malts, orange peel, and a hint of grapefruit. Dry finish and aftertaste with a slight hop bite.

22oz Bottle: Pours a clear golden with a solid white head that lingers.Aroma is sweet with only a few hops present. The taste is very nice albeit a bit sweet. the mouthfeel is medium with a little resin. Overall a good beer but not as Hoppy as I expected.

22 oz. bottle at Flat Rock Saloon. Poured dark gold with fizzy white head. Decent lacing. Lots of citrus goodness present. On the thin side and lacking malt. Hmm, american strong ale or imperial extra pale ale as the label says?
