3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft sample. Pours a clear yellow color with a large fluffy white head. The aroma has some doughy yeast, floral and herbal hops, a splash of white pepper, some sweetness and citrus notes. The flavor has more doughy malts, toasted bread, floral and herbal character, light/medium body, mild bitterness to the finish with some citrus. This was a bit of a disappointment, especially if it replaces Oat or a couple of the other stouts.

Aroma is lemon and cleanness. Lasting head, but chunkss of something in the beer, i’m okay with this, beer snob probably not. Palate is nice perfect balance. The rose hip actually comes out in flavor, pretty amazing. Sweet tartness nice balance with carbonation? Carbonation? Yes that is a central cause of flavor in this brew. Very nice!

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden amber pour with a big white head. Aromas of malt, some doughy notes, and hops. Flavor is way more bitter than I thought it would be. Tone down the hoppy notes and increase the malt presence and this brew would be delicious.

Bomber. Pours a cloudy blonde gold. Bright citrus lemon aroma with white head. Taste is a lemony citrus with malt and hop balance. Slight buttery mouthfeel. Nice.

Hazy light yellow. Aroma is floral and citrus. Taste is the same. You can taste the rose hips. Seems like a good radler.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a pretty clear solar yellow with a fluffy white head. Aroma is mainly fruity - pear plus some apple and a hint of banana - with malty and yeasty underpinnings. Fruity, malty flavor has a sharp alcohol note and hints of banana and yeast. Firm texture is fizzy and sharp, leaving a persistent tingle that you feel all the way down. Say, I think there is a touch of woody hops in there, and maybe a bit of rose hips in the flavor after taking another test sip.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Location: 22 oz bottle from Oak Tree, Groton, 7/18/13
Aroma: The aroma is sweet and fruity, with floral hops, yeast, and a bit of spice
Appearance: Pours a hazy golden color with a lasting sheet of white head and medium lace
Flavor: The taste is spicy, and a little fruity, not too sweet, with a clean, light-medium bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a lively carbonation, and wow is the 9% is completely hidden
This is a pretty interesting and tasty one. I thought the combo of the rose hips and citrusy hops worked nicely. I don’t usually love heavily carbonated beers, but I enjoyed this one.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
I sampled this at a beer tasting. This is a light, drinkable beer with a deceptively high alcohol content. It would be very, very easy to drink too much of this beer.
