We rely on age-old tools in the brewery despite being surrounded by high technology. As a sort of compass, we use the six pointed brewer’s star to help navigate uncharted brews. The cardinal points of water, malt, grain, yeast, hops and a brewer make the baseline. From there anything goes. Sometimes the journey is as important as the destination.

You’ll notice a slight bitterness in Compass derived from our use of rose hips accentuated by high effervescence. Drink it cold from a fluted or tulip glass. And by all means, avoid sea serpents.

Light haze on this pale gold beer, good white head. Crispy palate. Light malt base, touch of cream. Light citrus, nice orange, grapefruit and mild lemon. Nice sweetish floralness. Something else fruity as well, the rosehips most likely. Light finish. Tasty and very drinkable.

650ml bottle. Hazy golden body, medium beige head with good retention. Aroma of peaches and mangoes, citrus zest, caramel, flowers and leather. Mild taste: honey, peaches, orange candies, medium amount of herbal hops. On the sweet side. Good.

Clean, crisp with a slight hop flavor. Finishes like rose flavored tea. Alcohol fairly apparent. Kind of neat.

Pale golden pour with a thin white head. The aroma is soflty sweet with a little bit of floral/herbal aromatics. Quite subtle on the nose with some light floral character and a bit of honeyed sweetness. A touch of spiciness. Fairly lean for a high gravity Southern Tier beer (which is a good thing). A little bit of white pepper, some soft fruit and a lean peachiness in addition to some soft spice. It ends in a bit of light fruitiness. Solid brew.

Foggy light copper. Minimal head that’s gone quickly. A little subdued aroma, actually, probably with the restrained fizz. It definitely promises lots of hops - especially citrus and pine. You do get the rose hips too. Have a sip and the big flavours come to the show - pine, grapefruit, yeasty funk. Bitter. Quite light bodied. Refreshing.

pours hazy almost cloudy very pale golden with a small white cap showing minimal retention and lacing. pale spicy maltiness, citrusy, grapefruity, berry-like fruitiness, mostly cranberries though, its skin and astringency, woodsy and very herbal/spicy - aloe vera, subtle flowery and perfumey esters, warming alcohol, yeasty character - fruity and spicy. average to light carbonation - advertised as sparkling, curiously, light to medium body - oily, slighlty boozy and assertive grassy-spicy-citrusy finish. interestingly unique.

Bottle: Poured a deep golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet malt notes with some citrusy hoppy notes and light rose hips notes. Taste is a well balanced mix between some citrusy hops notes, a sweet malt base and some light rose hips notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Good beer thought maybe a tad too sweet for my own taste buds.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber-gold with a foamy white head that leaves behind a lot of lacing. Hoppy aroma, lots of citrus, pine, sugar, spices, bready yeast, malt. Taste is crisp and bitter-sweet, of candied citrus peels, sugar, baking spices, bread, malt. Hides the alcohol well. Lingering bready citrus. Interesting and tasty!

Bomber. Poured clear golden in color, with a medium white head a bit of spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruits, some grain and maybe some malts. Taste is quite sweet, quite Belgian... Fruity and regardless the high ABV very drinkable and enjoyable. Very good beer.
