3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Orange/peach malt and orange peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Sweet citrusy malt and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Very nice - more like an I2PA though.

A DRY YEASTY Belgian strong. Slightly fruity and musty aroma. Flavor has a bitterness in the finish that was unexpected. OK.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
This is a pretty weird one. Sorta like champagne with a bitter finish. Really dry. On another sip, I realize that bitterness is booziness. Interesting try. Not sure if Iíd go back to it. I donít dislike it, per se, but just isnít really working for me.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: APR 10, 2016 Very nice golden yellow... Aroma is nice, but faint.. some citrus, spices. Tastes like an Imperial Wit (if thereís such a thing)... though it wore on me over time, maybe too many rose hips? Good in small amounts, but I did not react well to this beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a glossy pale/burnt orange color with a thin white foamy head that quickly dissipated. A one ring lacing clings nicely around the glass.
The smell takes the rose hips, mostly dry and quite floral with some slight earthy, grassy and piney hops. Some sweet Belgian malt, bready yeast and subtle Belgian spice slide in underneath. Light banana.
The taste favors the previously mentioned flavors and definitely has the dry floral to banana aftertaste. Quick dry floral to piney finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a good sipping quality to it due to the dryness. Since Iím thinking because Iím having this a bit aged, ABV most likely has dropped so Iím not feeling the effects.
Overall, as a Belgian Strong ale, it definitely works. Iíd have this again, nice one.

Poured from a couple of bombers, citrus, creamy, sticky, strong, dry at the end, going to need a compass to find my bed or Iíll wake up on the floor.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a slightly hazy, dark banana yellow color with a one finger, frothy white head that slowly settles into a lasting ring. Pretty good retention with streaks of lace left behind.
Earthy, slightly floral aroma with grassy and piney hops, pale malt, flower petal and bready yeast. Some wheat beer character with bread, banana and citrus peel. Subtle potpourri presence blended into a hoppy wheat beer-like aroma.
Medium body with tight carbonation and crisp hop bitterness along with rose water and a pale malt backbone. Hints of biscuit and cracker along with malted wheat, banana bread and subtle peppery spice. Basically a decently hopped light wheat beer with strong flower petal bitterness. Easy to drink with a well masked ABV but not terribly interesting. The flower presnce is too strong for my liking, overpowering the hops and wheat beer elements. Also the malt profile could have been a bit more prominent.

Pencil shaving, lemon zest, grass aroma. Hazy amber, medium head. Malt and lemongrass, lightly sweet, lagery. Medium body, warm, spritzy. Drinks like a moderately hoppy bock, not a lot of Belgian character.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured into a perfect pint.
4.0 A: Clear medium yellow color. A bit of yeasties floating around. Two fingers of frothy white head. Retention is very good and plenty of lacing is left.
4.0 S: Citrusy hops - orange, grapefruit, and lemon. Moderate herbalness that I assume is the rose hips. Neutral maltiness and clean. Not super complex, but it smells great. Nothing to complain about.
3.75 T: Pleasant neutral maltiness sticks out more so than in the nose. Orange, grapefruit, and lemon citrusiness. Moderate, well integrated herbalness. Again this is a winner.
4.0 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation with a pleasant creaminess.
4.25 D: Supremely and infinitely drinkable. No complaints. This is a winner.

I poured it from the bottle into a Stella Artois glass. It pours orange with a big white head and nice lacing. The aroma is orange, hops, and yeast. The is big on orange with some biscuit, salty cracker, spice, and booze notes. There is a nice bubbly crispness to it, which surprises considering the alcohol content.
