650 ml bottle @ Olutravintola Pannuhuone. Rated @ 3.7.2010.
Hazy orange colour with a medium sized white head. Very DIPA-like nose with citrus, fresh hops, caramel and grapefruit notes. The flavour is pretty much the same but with a great balance between bitterness and sweetness. Warming mouthfeel and at the same time a bit dry. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. Great brew.

This is quite tasty. Poured a rather cloudy rich orange with a very thin head. Aroma is quite sweet with bread dough coming through very strong. Up front, the earthy hops are quite prevalent. On the aftertaste, the doughy sweetness comes through quite well and balances out the bitter hops as well. A strong taste of baby sweet carrots also comes through strongly on the aftertaste. Alcohol is also hidden quite well. An excellent double ipa.

Clear dark orange under a white head.
Big juicy hop and rich malt aroma. Smells like a Barleywine here!
The flavor is a bit subdued compared to it’s aroma. Well balanced, not overly hoppy in the flavor.
Very Nice.

Draught @ Tivu. Deep hazy orange towards amber in colour with a thick, off-white head. Pine and citric fruits most predominant in the aroma. Hoppy, bitter taste with fruitiness similar to that of the aroma is somewhat balanced by malt and caramel. Some alcohol in the finish.

0,65 l bottle from CrackedKettle, courtesy of Balazs.
Poured opalescent golden-amber with some orange tones, nice off white vreamy head. Fruity hops, almond and resin in the nose. Grape and raisins, dry green leaves both in the aroma and flavor. Oily texture, honeyish body with fruity tones with figs and peach, tropical fruits. Fantastic well rounded, composed hop-simphony in the end and aftertaste. Wow!Wow!
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 ClubGonzo (515) - Bergen, NORWAY - AUG 6, 2010
Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Pours a deep hazy orange with a small, off-white head. Aroma is dense American hops; lots of flavors mainly dominated by licorice, vanilla and raspberry tones. Taste is the same; a dense carpet of hop flavor in a filling mouthfeel. In fact, it is so filling that the drinkability is rather low and the massive diversity of hops in this one seems to partly counteract each others flavors, creating - paradoxically - a less complex beer than a more "restricted" (hop-wise) one probably would. Otherwise, a solid DIPA from Southern Tier. Not original or outstanding, just solid.
