2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Orange-Amber pour. Thin white head with minimal lace. Not as much hop presence as I would like like in an IPA. Nice mouth feel with lingering bitter finish.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured a dark copper with the barest fizzle of a head. Very perfumey, soapy aroma ... and it delivers in the first swallow, delivering almost a detergent-like flourish. The more you drink, it turns into more of a flower-hoppiness.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A 12oz bottle. An orange amber pour with lite head and a sticky slight lace. An aroma of big hops and sweet malt. A flavor that is balanced the way I like it. The malt is there but the hops grab it by the ass quickly and show whos boss. A really good beer that continues to impress as the bottle goes down.

Nice beer. A bit too carbonated though. Excellent Flavor. Citrus and a hint of pine. Wonderful aroma. A top IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
brewtopia 10/21/06, Resinous fresh hop aroma. Taste is fresh hops, some malt, good bitterness throughout the taste, decent IPA.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Standard IPA look with a copper/orange body and a white foamy head. The hop profile was very bland for an IPA with a musty basement attribute that was not pleasant. There was a "stale" feel to this all around.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Strong hops and malt flavor, more than most IPAs. Definitely a bold flavor, which I normally like, but I found that I enjoyed it a little less the more I drank. Not bad by any means, maybe not the best overall flavor for me though.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This started out nice, a clear amber body with a substantive off-white head. A sweet caramel aroma was capped by a healthy dose of the PNW, a solid grapefruit, zest of orange, and pine bitterness. The flavor begins with caramel and toffee, pursued by the hops, and then... Oddly a layer of dust invaded my drink, leaving a mustiness in the back of my mouth. Mis-handled bottle, perhaps? One to try again.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle via trade with shadey - Pours a clear amber color with a good size off white head. A good looking beer. Lots of nice lacing. Has a nice citrus, pine hop aroma. Flavor is mostly hops, just like the aroma. Medium to full body. The only thing holding this beer back is the lack of malt balance. Still this is a very tasty beer. This would make a sweet session beer. Thanks Shane.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thank you muchly, El_Borracho, for this sample... Aroma seems inviting, with strong promises of citrus, mainly orange zest, and pine resin. The pour was attractive and lured me in with it’s deep amber color and rich rocky off-white head. The initial flavor was a pronounced sweet malt bottom, followed instantly by the PNW hopping....and the requisite citrus and pine assault. But a strange bitter mustiness crept in to crash the IPA party...followed by a slight dishwater soapiness which cast it’s murky and moldy pall on the initial lupilin luxeriousness that I had such high hopes on longingly lingering upon so lovingly........
