shawnm213 (841), South Bend, Indiana, USA May 29, 2009 Bottle. pours a clear light amber with a beige head. Biscuity malts, caramel, toast, floral hops, marshmallow, some alcohol. happy with the balance. Not bad. Jonte (801), Gothenburg, Sweden May 29, 2009 Updated: May 31, 2009Bottle. Golden orange colour. Fruity and malty aroma. The taste is sweet, biscuity and fruity at first. Then more bitter. Notes of citrus, caramel, grass, apricot. Bitter finish. A bit one-dimensional on the hop front. Maybe better more fresh? ilherps (212), Carbondale, Illinois, USA May 27, 2009 Pours slightly hazy and amber. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, and a hint of caramel. Flavor is more malt than hop, which is not what I’d expect from an American IPA. Body is medium, and it has a short finish. I am really looking for more bitterness than this has. Butters (1622), Virginia, USA May 27, 2009 Bottle from maniac. No telling how old this thing was, because even though the hops were evident, this was a malt bomb. Semi hazy dark amber pour with large pillowtop tan head and fair lacing. Nose is sweet grapefruit, honey, and huge caramel malts. Flavor allows for a bit more of the citrus fruity hop profile to join the apple and caramel malts. Medium full syrupy creamy body is quite nice. Lightly bitter on the finish. Very good despite the age, I can’t imagine this would be even better fresh. Bragesnak (2223), Aarhus, Denmark May 27, 2009 From Voldby, DK.

Golden with white head. Aroma of grapefruit and malt. Flavor is citrus, caramel, bitterness and some ripe fruit Blom (390), Odense, Denmark May 26, 2009 Golden with a low head. Strong aroma to begin with of tropical fruits, orange and citric contours. The flavour is a bit disspointing though: primarily lemon and citrus, onesided bitterness without any real contrasts. There’s only the dry end in the end. BeerBiker (1384), Odense, Denmark May 23, 2009 [Sampled with the duo: Svoger & Svogergylp on Orø.] Hazy orange-amber look with offwhite head. Notes of caramel, hops, pines, and flowerpark. Grapy and refreshing. Good to food. foundmd (163), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA May 23, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours amber orange with a medium off-white head. Nice refreshing aroma of orange citrus with pine and honey. Flavor is more one-dimensional, emphasizing pine and floral hops. Pleasant lingering hop bitterness with a dry smooth finish. Not bad overall.
