This one has a well balanced flavor with the assertive hops one expects from an IPA accented with grapefruit and a touch of pine and enough malt to hold it up. I really liked the mouthfeel on this one. The medium body and smooth carbonation leads into a bitter finish. The sum of the parts is greater than each one and my overall impression is of an excellent IPA. Anker (306), Hillerřd, Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 11, 2009 (Bottle) A good IPA. Cool, clean tasting, this IPA actually has many of the qualities that usually makes me prefer APA’s over IPA’s...something about the hops is cleaner and less heavy. Not terribly complex. This one is very hoppy and has less richness to the malt...but at least it is not too heavy. I would take this over most American IPA’s any day, although I’d not put it in the "best of the best" category. truegen (164), Puyallup, Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 10, 2009 12oz. bottle from 99 Bottles in Federal Way. Transparent gold, frothy white head, plenty of lacing. Clean, sweetish aroma with a touch of citrus. Hops are more piney in the flavor profile, along with sweet, doughy malts. I thought it was a little light on the palate for an IPA, but it’s still rather tasty. Nice, slow finish that easily invites the next swallow. Fine stuff! thewolf (5722), Kolding, Denmark

Pours clear, darkish golden with a firm, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has good citric and pine hops with a little grapefruit peeping through. A touch of caramel. Medium carbonation, super lovely dry mouthfeel. Flavour is heavy hoppy, light caramel and bready malts. PIne, flowery and fruity hops abound. Long, lingering bitterness. Nice.
