BeerBunker (600), Burbank, Illinois, USA Sep 27, 2008 Pours orange with a white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, and some yeast. Taste is very hoppy, without being too bitter. Nice flavor backed very well by the malts. Good carbonation make this beer easy to drink. Nothing overly amazing, but damned tasty. TOSG55 (75), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA Sep 16, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear golden orange with a fizzy head. Aroma of citrusy hops, with earthy/grassy notes. The flavor is nicely hoppy; bitter, with citrus and pine notes. A bit of a soapy aftertaste, but not too bad. A solid IPA. MadIndian (987), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 15, 2008 Bottled, This was a pretty good beer. Nice amber pour with grassy notes and citrus undertones. A piney bitter taste that is blended well with caramel malts. It’ good. doubleo (1096), San Diego, California, USA Sep 13, 2008 12oz bottle from Badbeer. Pours hazy amber with a moderate size white head, spider web lace. Starts out with stone fruit flavors mixing onto toffee and caramel. Good finish.
MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark Sep 10, 2008 Bottle. Good caramelly aroma. Almost clear copper colour. Small stable white head. Good grassy, spicy and caramelly hop flavour. Slightly sweet, but in OK balance. tgncc (796), Bellmore, New York, USA Sep 7, 2008 Appearance and aroma are true to the IPA style. This beer is an amber/yellow color, with a stong white head. The aroma is mainly of earthy, floral hops. Some malt sweetnes is evident. The flavor is not a strong as i might have thought. Still, it is a good balance of floral, somewhat piney hops, and malt sweetness. The brew has a medium mouthfeel. The finish is a lingering, pleasing montage of hops, not citrus, but piney, floral, earthy hops. Solid IPA overall. PaulHegedus (458), Georgetown, Ontario, Canada Sep 7, 2008 Updated: Oct 11, 2008Bottle. This stuff is a treat. Do not serve too cold. Has a nice frothy head, amber colour. This bottle is fragrant: floral aromas in the hops, orange zest, bread. Mouthfeel is medium, pleasant. Tastes fresh. Flavour starts with apricot, peach and grapefruit, then there is hop bitterness, biscuit, toffee, then a bitter finish.
