Flavors of citrus, malt, a little orange peel - rich, tangy, and piney - well done! Skeets (24), Sacramento, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Bottle, nice clear light copper appearance. Hop aroma is strong but fresh. Really good. Flavor is smooth and less hoppy than the aroma. Not too bitter either. Great IPA. EricE (450), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Clear orange-red pour with a thick white head. Strong piny hop aroma with lots of citrus fruit and spice, and a touch of burnt malt. Hop flavor isn’t as intense as the aroma suggests, but a bitter hoppiness remains the dominant flavor. Some fruity tones. Very dry with a touch of alcohol on the finish. Not bad, but there are other IPA’s I enjoy more. SQNfan (591), Wheaton, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 16, 2008 Light copper in color with a thick head of medium-sized bubbles. Aromas were of fresh cut grass and some hidden sweet citrus. In the mouth it was medium-bodied and dry with the hops balanced by the malt. The carbonation was light but apparent and engaging. keoki182 (305), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 16, 2008 Smells and tastes like an APA. Pretty low key bitterness, which is nice and drinkable on an unseasonably warm April day in Wisconsin. I’ve had this one in my fridge for a few months, so it might not be as fresh as recommended. Still, I’m doing some spring cleaning of my beer shelf in my fridge and this one is pretty pleasant. jmikolich (405), Athens, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 12, 2008 12oz bottle, suspected to be a bit old, first sip was hiding some oxidation, nothing serious nothing bad per se, then comes the IPA taste, a deep bitterness, lends nice flavors and smells good.
Not bad, not like Un*Earthly though, although different styles, the over the top of UN*E is not what ST has done here. verymerrymonk (256), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 11, 2008 Pours a beautiful light copper, slighty cloudy body with a thin white head. Great lacing. Moves from oranges, to grapefruits, and into a dry finish. Very good IPA. jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA
