| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 3, 2008 12 oz bottle. Golden with amber hues and a big white head. Strong floral hop aroma. Solid maltiness behind the good hop bitterness. Lingering bitter finish. dm9831 (1167), Monee, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 9/20 | Mar 2, 2008 pours cloudy amber with thin head. mostly air, with perhaps a hint of citrus. not bitter, soft citrus taste. not offensive, just not exciting. the finish is filling. i can’t point to any specific failure in this beer. it just seemed pretty tame to me for an ipa. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 23, 2008 Updated: Jun 6, 2008May 2007, Updated June 2008 - Pour was golden yellow with one finger head and outstanding lacing. Aroma of grapefruit/citrus hops. Flavor was a nice blend of sweet citrus with some mild grassy notes. Citrus was primarily grapefruit with some orangey notes. Sweet and not overly bitter, but with a crisp bite at the end. Medium/high level of hop bitterness. Thick, oily mouthfeel was the most memorable aspect, but also might keep this from great drinkability. BuckeyeSammy (455), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

Interesting nose of floral hops. Very sweet flavor. Well balanced with a clean finish. kassner (440), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 18, 2008 Bottle at just the right temperature in a pilsner gtulip glass. Light red straw color fairly clear with very little head, less than a quarter inch. Also only a slight hops aroma. Dry straightforward hops, not too aromatic, some slight hint of mint and obvious alcohol. Thirst quenching, with a full pallette and only a slight bitter aftertaste. A big hop beer for sure. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 13, 2008 This would best be called a pale ale, as it lacked the hoppiness of an IPA. Mild hops, fairly crisp and smooth, but overall, forgettable at best. lovemyipas (420), sw burbs, Illinois, USA
