Majority of the taste is hop with little supporting cast. A bit watery. Orange light brownish with a strong head. A decent IPA drpimento (809), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 5, 2008 Interesting beer. Has a good spicy, slightly floral hop without fruitiness. Decent medium-dark amber well filtered color. Good soft texture and full roundness. Flavor was odd, at first real nice earthy full fresh hop but then briefly there’s a strange putrid characteristic. Not into that. Don’t pick up much of that in subsequent sips. Anyhoo, docked em for that; otherwise, pretty good beer. Good finish. No booziness. Having this bottle at Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin. nimbleprop (843), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 5, 2008 Pours a transparent, slightly hazy, orange amber color with yellow fringe and a slightly lacing white head that faded fast. Smells spicy, citrusy, and slightly sweet. Flavor is heavy on the hop resin with lemons and pine and a little spice. Dry but strongly bitter at the end. Touches of biscuit and malt in the flavor as well. Good, but I’ve also had better. tclowans (19), rolling meadows, Illinois, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Pours a slightly clouded darker amber. No head. Nose is slightly hopped. Flavor is sticky and syrupy with a woody tone to it. Slightly piney, but smooth. A level sweetness to it. Feel is fairly thick on the liquid and good on the bubble. Overall very smooth and very drinkable. No hop bomb here. Just a nice smooth and mature IPA. Worth a shot!
